It has went so far downhill there is no "up". I have never been to a restaraunt that has no prices on the menu. The guac was tryly aweful! How do you not know how to make guac? Ghe service was unfriendly and had attitude like she was doung us a favor. I used to come in a lot years ago. I will never again. And $17 for a $5 drink- NO! I was a bartender and no freaking way! If that was a "large" we got then the regular must be served in a wine glass!
I’m not sure if they’ve changed chefs or management, but the quality of their food has gone downhill. Stingy portions of everything and dry, overcooked chicken in the Arroz con Pollo dish; there was barely any queso or flavor One tiny bag of chips for almost 30$ of dip. I don’t recommend them anymore.

Great food, plenty of things on their menu for any type of water, and the service is always speedy. In the summer, I enjoy their patio as it's dog friendly. They've got tasty margs and they are quick at refilling the chips and salsa.

Best in Mechanicsville, everything is delicious especially the chimichangas and the white sauce.
Recommended dishes: White Sauce, Steak Ranchero, Steak a La Diabla, Quesadilla, Hard Shell Taco
Just average. $12 lunch Carnitas, but had the hard grissle in portion. NOT what I expect from pulled pork. Small portion. Resturant was ok and staff were nice.

Ordered happy hour house margaritas which came with chips and salsa. Margaritas tasted like they were mixed with expired lime juice and chips were cold, unsalted and stale and salsa was pureed, no veggie or cilantro. Needless to say huge disappointment and we left drinks on table and went to Mexican Restaurant where dinner, drinks and service was awesome!
Patron has excellent food with good prices. Service started off a bit slow but it got better.
I really enjoyed it, my food had a great flavor, the only negative was that they didn't post prices on the menu, you had to do a goofy online scan code thing to see pricing
First let me say the staff was very nice. But I went here and had the worst Mexican meal I have ever had in my life, and that includes Taco Bell and "Lean Cuisine" frozen meals. Yes it was that bad. I got the "Pollo Feliz," which is advertised as "Grilled chicken breast covered with grilled onions, mushrooms, zucchini, squash, and melted cheese." It was served....the chicken was overcooked, dry, and flat. NO onions, NO mushrooms, literally only one very tiny half-slice of zucchini and squash and NO melted cheese. Also someone else in our party got a simple chicken burrito and it was almost all onions, no chicken. That chef should be fired. I wouldn't take a meal from this place for free.

Pros: Food was fantastic. I could've made a meal out of the beans and rice, they were so flavorful.
The tea was fresh, and not rancid. Lemons were also fresh with no signs of spoiling.
They brought chips and 2 different sauces. Salsa and the sweet white sauce. Not sure the name.
The bathroom (women's, not sure about the men's) was clean and stocked.
The staff was friendly and mostly helpful
Cons: Upon arriving. We had to seat ourselves. So I gathered the menus and the silverware and we picked a seat. The man at the front, balding, glasses, not sure of his position there....(Side Note: No offense to him. I'm just trying to give a detailed review.) Thought we were with a party outside. No big deal.
The wrong drinks were brought to me and my companion and first.
When needing extra napkins or such, there wasn't anyone available to ask for them. So we had to get them ourselves. Again, not a big deal. But at this point little things, (in this list as you'll see, unless I forgot something) build up.
When bringing the chips. You could tell that they were the bottom of the batch.
The utensils were dirty, as well as the menus.
Somewhat challenging to communicate with the waitress. Wasn't even going to mention this one, because it's a Mexican restaurant. But, probably be helpful if she was more bilingual with Spanish and English.
*None of these responses are in order. I had the fish tacos and she has the Carne Guisada I think. We both had tea.
My husband loves the CA burrito and everyone loves the queso!
Unfortunately they blacked out their menu prices so I wasnt sure what I was paying. I imagined a $50-60 bill for two people to eat. I did not expect a $90 bill for two people to eat. This place has good food and good service, but not for five star dining prices. Its really sad that I have to cross another local restaurant off my list of eating places.
*wow, owners lying in their reply to me. My bill came to $86.99 before tip.. essentially $90. We both had waters and my wife had a single margarita. You charged $12 just for 3 simple tacos. You know for a fact what you charge. Dont act like you dont.*
Love the tres leches cake!
Thee BEST fajitas & cheese sauce EVER!
