Tropical Smoothie Cafe

As usual when you go in you are misinformed when ordering your smoothie. You'd think at this point when people order and you tell them you save $2 off that they tell you it's from your rewards/points. Instead they make it sound likes it's apart of a loyalty program and mislead you into using points which can't be given back. Such a shitty business that only gets worse with employees and managers who just go through the motion as if they don't care. Because they don't. So waste your time here if you wish but learn the lesson that there is no such discount or freebie on a product. It always comes from your points. Dont let them bait you into wasting your points so you have to spend more to get them back.

If they’re not busy it’s a nice place

They are a solid TS. Typical chain of course but they get everything done right and are pretty fast. Can’t ask for much more.

I was so heartbroken to experience this from a highly reputable establishment like Tropical Smoothie, no care for the food and moneys worth was not met I remember when tropical smoothie first came out it was a relief to the food industry but now with locations like this it’s slowly becoming disregarded like Burger King. Management must correct these things especially with me being an under cover food reviewer this is not status right here this is below the bar.

The staff member taking my order was wearing ear buds and completely missed one of the items in my order. While I was sitting there waiting she also messed up another gentleman’s order. Pretty unpleasant experience overall.

My kids and I went to the Atlee Road location (near Kroger) for National Flip Flop Day for the promotional smoothies. It was 6:55pm. The restaurant had many people waiting in line and waiting in the restaurant for their food. We did not get greeted at the counter to order until 7:17pm. A mom and her 2 kids ordered a few minutes before we were greeted (2 promotional smoothies and 1 other smoothie), but definitely after 7pm. When we tried to order our promotional smoothies, we were told that the promotion ended at 7. I explained that we had been waiting in line since before 7. The manager on duty then rudely and with much attitude, stated that the promotion ended at 7 and they had "run out". Yet, the customers in front of us did receive their promotional smoothies. If I could have given 0 stars for customer service, I would have.

The food was really yummy. The fruit bowl based on my experience, I travel for work so I go to tropical smoothie about five times a week All over the state, and the bowls are usually a lot fuller. I usually get a fruit bowl and I get a generous amount of peanut butter and a decent amount of fruit to the point where I can barely open my bowl. I could clearly tell wasn’t as full per usual but other than that, this is a solid tropical smoothie . Also, I was missing my sauce for the quesadilla.
