Zheng Chinese Restaurant

Recently had lunch here with my wife. The experience was a little sub-par. I'll say that it looks to be more of a take out place. The inside seems old and a little dirty. The booths are ripped and there are boxes placed all over tables as well. The young man that waited on us was super nice. My wife ordered a chicken and broccoli and wanted to add cashews to it. He said that he could do that, but when the order came out it had water chestnuts. When she pointed that out to him he said that he was sorry and he went in the back and got a bowl of hard cashews and gave it to her. She said well they're kind of hard can I get them cooked in the sauce you know like mixed in and he said yeah just put them on top and make some around, from there we just didn't ask anymore because he wasn't getting it. I got the Kung Pao shrimp and a small bowl of wonton soup. The soup was cold when it came out. While we were in there though there was a steady stream of takeout, this is the first time I've eaten here. My wife has gotten food from here before for lunch at her work and said that it was pretty good, but maybe take out is much better than sitting in. So that's what I would suggest, it's not a place to go eat in at but maybe try the takeout.

Our favorite local Chinese restaurant for to-go food. We've enjoyed everything we've gotten do far: General Tsos, Kung Pao, crunchy cashew, fried rice, ragoon, etc. In jest, our only complaint is no fortune cookies with the meal!

We stopped in for lunch & thoroughly enjoyed our meals! He ordered Cashew Chicken with fried rice & wonton soup, while I had house Mei Fun with egg drop soup. Everything was served hot, it was well seasoned, flavorful, & very good. They had some of the best sweet tea!! I've ordered takeout from here before (since about 2022) & it was always really good; this was our first time dining in & it was a really nice experience! We do recommend Zheng Chinese Restaurant!!

Correction for that ten minute wait, don’t keep pushing , if you can’t wait , cancel the dasher order , and move on to your next dasher order ! Don’t fuzzz. You were not ok! With 10 minutes, you called customer service and you were right side , what’s the point for pushing when it’s busy? The best is you move on to next restaurant to pick up your dasher deliver , that’s what other driver do , not to fight or have conflict with workers! Be nice to this world people would return to be nice too.

Poor customer service. Unable to communicate how long the order would take. Unable to communicate how long the order would take. They just kept saying 10 more minutes and a few more minutes as opposed to giving an actual estimate. Don't be upset if you tell me 10 minutes and I come back in 10 minutes I asked you for the time you set 10 minutes. I said okay how many more minutes I can come back a few, I comeback a few, a few.

The hot and sour soup is very delicious, we go three dishes they all are very yummy!! Highly recommend.

We spent $69 and did not enjoy any of the food no flavor and the shrimps was mushy in the seafood delight. The shrimp fried rice and beef and broccoli just ok something in the stomach. We ate all of shrimp fried rice the rest trashed ordered on 1/31/2024
