We decided to have lunch in Middleburg today (along with all of Virginia)
Was gonna go to Red Horse Tavern but the wait was too long for us.
Walked around a bit and decided to stop into a quaint looking Mexican Restaurant called CDMX Bar and Grill.
So glad we did!!
I got the 3 Carne Asada Tacos on soft flour tortillas. (They offer both hard or soft corn or flour tortillas).
Wife got the Fajita Salad.
The tacos were absolutely delicious! 2 different sauces, mild and hot. Hot was amazing. Flavor was on point!
Wife's salad was awesome too!
The thing that put ever over the top? Freshness!
Everything, from the free chips and salsa when you sit down to the sides of guac to the tortillas... everything was fresh! You can definitely taste it!
If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop on in.
If you're not in the area, get in the area and stop in!
I'm full and ordering more!

We loved CDMX! Our waiter was very attentive and happy to make my plain taco order - I really appreciated that. Great food - we will be back.

Truly authentic Mexican food, conveniently located in the middle of Virginia horse country - combine your trip with a stroll through this small town with plenty of shops and sights to see. As for the food it's great and not too spicy; the full bar features tequilas and Mexican beers. Expect friendly service and if challenged - ask questions if you have trouble with the menu. Plenty of seating, bring the whole family ?

Food is excellent, restaurant is kept neat and clean, and the wait staff is very polite and attentive. Rare to see young people care enough to run such a tight ship

Cadillac margarita and carnitas tacos were amazing! Add refried beans, side of rice and fresh guacamole -our meal was perfect. Service was exceptional. As native Californians, this is the best Mexican food we’ve had since living in Virginia! Just our opinion and we will be back.

Such a nice and authentic Mexican spot in the middleburg! The quality of the food and variety of options were nice. The service was also excellent!! Definitely coming back :)

The food here is very good. The service is outstanding. I had the beef chimichanga and tableside guacamole. Would definitely return if in the area again.

We enjoyed the well priced lunch specials and margaritas! Chips and salsa were yummy. But the service here is what is truly outstanding. Our server Jeffrey was wonderful through the meal but he really went above and beyond chasing me down the street in 95 degree heat when I forgot my credit card! Thank you Jeffrey and CDMX!
