“We stopped in for a drink after a day of zipline at Empower Adventures. The staff was great, the drinks were wonderful! The GM Nick seated us without a reservation and even whipped up an amazing off-menu wine cocktail for my friend. Even the playlist for outdoor seating was spot-on. We will be going back next time we are in the area. Next time we will try the food.”

“Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. We ordered calamari and the blue crab dip. Both were awesome. I got the fish&chips and it was very good. Service was great and nice ambience.Parking sucks but hey it’s Middleburg.Highly recommend.”

“i was so happy to have been able to eat here before they closed for good yesterday (leap day). the owner was so nice, and i could tell that she had built a community based off of the way the other diners were hugging her goodbye on her last day of business. i got the philly cheesesteak on kaiser bread, and it was so good, i took a photo of it before i ate it so that i could try and recreate it at home. it's such a shame that i discovered how good it was on the last day, but i wish the owners all the best & a happy retirement :)”
“Oustanding French style estate winery. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious food and wines in a very beautiful Virginia location. Plenty of parking.”
“Beautiful views, good wine, new facilities are very nice with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Wish they had things to eat other than cheese and cheese spreads and crackers/bread since they do not allow outside food, but a great place to enjoy wine and the scenery”
“Best tacos in town Hands down! Definitely better than the tacos at CDMX, and worth the price! Cure hidden taco shop behind the plant store.Vegetarian options: veggie tacos”

“This is the best Thai food in the area!! One of the few places that actually make it spicy when you ask for Thai hot! The Sushi rolls are amazing, Lobster roll is off the charts delicious, and don't forget the Jalapenos appetizer! We frequent this place often and it is always spot on! If you want real Thai food, this is the place, the others in the area do not compare.”

“I’m happy there is Mexican in Middleburg again. The patio is quite small but if you happen to get a table, and don’t mind street traffic, it’s quite enjoyable. The food is always good and the service is relaxed and nice. My kids like it here so that’s probably what matter the most to me”

“The interior has a very unique design, with market-like stalls displaying various products around the walls which are painted like the sky. The short rib sliders were pretty good, and the boursin cheese that came with it was an excellent pairing. I wasn’t as much a fan of the potato salad though. The potatoes felt undercooked, and the whole mix was a bit plain.”

“I'm consistently happy with the food and service here. Occasionally the bar is closed due to special events at the resort so it's worth calling ahead. 4 stars instead of 5 due to our lunch bill exceeding $500 for 4 adults and 3 kids the last time we were there.”

“What a cozy little hidden place. Glad thar we found it just happened to walk by. All were very cheap and all bakeries that we bought were good especially their croissants. They just melt in your mouth. They were buttery and so soft, just the way we like it.”
“Great ice-cream place in the middle of picturesque town of Middleburg, Virginia. Sometimes there are so many customers in line that patience is needed but well worth it!”

“I needed a cup to giddy up, so it was nice that Cuppa Giddy Up saved the morning while walking around Middleburg. It's a small coffee shop on the basement level on the main street, so may be easy to miss. But if you make it here, they'll have everything you need to giddy up for the day. We visited Cuppa Giddy Up in the late morning on a Monday and the place wasn't busy, but with just one other customer in line. The space is very small, as it serves more so as a take-out establishment versus a cafe where you can sit and sip, which was fine with us because we planned to take our drinks to go. The menu was large enough, with different coffee and tea drinks, with many different flavors. I ordered a drip, which was solid. Nothing special, but I just needed to wake up, so it got the job done. As for food, there were just a few pastries at the counter available. But inside, there's a bathroom and a space that has a brochure and map of Middleburg and other tourist guides. Glad to know that Cuppa Giddy Up is here for a caffeine fix in Middleburg.”

“We arrived at the Red Horse Tavern when outside patio seating was crowded with a 45-minute wait but inside we were greeted by a young man and given our choice of three tables in a small room to the right. We were waited on very quickly for drinks and food arrived timely. I couldn't believe how good the Irish burger and salad was, and my wife's Salmon was excellent. Our friends raved about their burgers with sweet potato and regular fries. Great servers made the whole experience relaxing. We felt special even though the room was full within ten minutes when we sat down. We definitely will return, and the prices are fantastic!”

“Went on a rainy morning. The coffee was great, latte was delish.... The yogurt with cherries and granola off the charts. The employees are friendly, and very efficient. Food and drinks came out in no time. The atmosphere is perfect for small town coffee shop. This is probably one of my favorite coffee shops that I have visited. Highly recommend. We will be back.”
“It is a nice winery, with large outdoor spaces with tables and benches, great for a picnic. The site is very clean and well organized. Wine is excellent, but some wines are available only by bottle, not by glass. Unfortunately, you can't get "wine tasting" outside (you can only get a glass or a bottle). Place is elegant, but the bill is a bit more expensive than other wineries.”
“We had a really lovely evening here! The setting is beautiful, the wait-staff are great, and the ambiance is cozy and modern rustic. The foie gras is creamy and delicious, and there is so much of it (not a bad thing, please keep it all!!) that it definitely needs to come with more than 3 tiny slices of brioche. The scallop crudo was hands down the best thing we ordered--it was so flavorful, tart, and creamy! The mushrooms in the squab appetizer were awesome; everything had a delicate flavor and texture and was cooked perfectly. The lobster-salmon appetizer was pretty good, but what elevated it for me was the beurre blanc--holy crap, they nailed that sauce. The beef tenderloin literally melted in my partner's mouth--it is one of the best he's had, and definitely the best in the area. The dole with lemon-butter sauce was really tasty, and the addition of perfectly creamy mashed potatoes and salty greens were such a great complement; it was also a bigger portion than I expected, and I was pleasantly full after. My only request would be a better choice of desserts and cocktails; there were only a few things to choose from and they were all pretty basic--nothing called out to us. And the espresso machine was broken, so that was disappointing at the end of a meal that we had to drive quite a ways home from as well.”

“Always a wonderful experience! Jeremy was our server and I indulged in the wine pairing with dinner - he did a great job presenting each wine with the different courses. The Valentine's 5 course menu was fantastic - we especially loved the lobster bisque and ordered the mini lobster roll to start - delicious!”
