A big building with ample indoor and outdoor seating, almost all of it with a view. The wine is pretty good too.I went with a couple of flights while I was here and I don't think there was a wine that I didn't like. However, I did find that the whites were better than the reds (which I think is true of many VA wineries, but particularly here too). The Albarino in particular was a standout. Service was fast if a bit impersonal. I also liked that they let dogs hang out as well.
We joined the Harvest Club at Cana Vineyards last year, and have thoroughly enjoyed their wines and hospitality ever since. Their setting is lovely, their facilities are very comfortable and have great views, and their wines are terrific. We have brought family and friends with us on many occasions, and it's always a good time.

A relaxing location close enough for a short trip, but still has views of the rolling hills of Virginia. The owners, staff, and winemaker are informative and if you stop in around the right time, you may get an invite to help pick grapes or bottle wine enabling you to learn more about the process.
