A relaxing location close enough for a short trip, but still has views of the rolling hills of Virginia. The owners, staff, and winemaker are informative and if you stop in around the right time, you may get an invite to help pick grapes or bottle wine enabling you to learn more about the process. This was one of the few wineries we've ever visited that both me and my wife enjoyed all of the wines. Children and dogs are allowed, though with some limits (dogs can't come inside due to new Virginia regulations and children are asked to stay on the ground floor). All in all, Cana Vineyards and Winery is a great place to get relax for a few hours when you get a chance, and then head down to Middleburg for dinner and shopping!

A big building with ample indoor and outdoor seating, almost all of it with a view. The wine is pretty good too.I went with a couple of flights while I was here and I don't think there was a wine that I didn't like. However, I did find that the whites were better than the reds (which I think is true of many VA wineries, but particularly here too). The Albarino in particular was a standout. Service was fast if a bit impersonal. I also liked that they let dogs hang out as well.

We joined the Harvest Club at Cana Vineyards last year, and have thoroughly enjoyed their wines and hospitality ever since. Their setting is lovely, their facilities are very comfortable and have great views, and their wines are terrific. We have brought family and friends with us on many occasions, and it's always a good time.

Best Winery in Virginia! Cana Winery is a great place to visit with friends and family for the day, taking in the beautiful Bull Run Mountains, and sipping on amazing award winning wines. If you are a Rosè lover, you will be pleasantly surprised by their Rosè blends they offer. If you are a red wine lover, their Le Mariage gives you three of their best red wines blended into one. If you are a white wine lover, their Albariño and Petit Manseñg is not to be missed. I highly recommend Cana Winery not only for their beautiful location, but for all of their amazing wines they offer.
Cana is a beautiful family oriented winery that also has space for those seeking a quiet corner to sip and chat on amazing wine. I love enjoying their outdoor space year round! The staff is great and makes me feel like family. I had a moment last spring where my mother was newly diagnosed with cancer and all my siblings came into town. We took an evening to just be present with each other at Cana and felt so supported and cared for by the staff. Later mom and I went out in the summer to sit at view the hillside and while she couldn’t drink the wine, they made sure she had a cool beverage at all times to enjoy the scenery.

Nice winery. Arrived about 30 minutes after opening on a Monday. It slowly started to fill up. Had indoor (fire place) and outdoor seating. Employees were a little odd/eccentric. Wines were okay. No sweet wines. Did have a "bark bar" for visiting pups. A gift shop and bathroom were located in large building. Construction underway for new admin building at back of parking lot.

Great wine and a great value. I recommend looking into the wine club - it’s the best value I’ve seen from a vineyard offering 4 free flights per visit. We bring our own food, enjoy the flights, and appreciate the view.

Cana Vineyards was a great experience. The service was good, not overly friendly or talkative but it was easy to ask questions if you had any. They preferred to let you enjoy on your own time. There was plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, inside seating area for when it is hot, and plenty of covered and uncovered seating. We found the white wines very enjoyable (Albariño and Rhapsody in white) and preferred those over the reds and roses. Highly recommend ordering a bottle!
