Great little gem in the heart of Middleburg. Huge variety of Asian food choices (sushi to shashimi to noddles to stir fry, etc). Interiors are nice (they updated their outside deck lately) but the food is fantastic!
We love RBS, however their new manager / waiter (woman with short brown/black hair) is causing us to seek other establishments. First time she waited on us she forgot to put in our order. We waited for 2 hours (restaurant was busy) for her to come and say oh sorry forgot to put that in, giggle and act like there was no care in the world. We figured she was new and let it slip. Yesterday on 1/3 it happened again but at least this time she remembered to put in our mains and just forgot the apps. Her tone when apologizing is flat and gives off the impression that we are bothering her by asking for her to put in the missing food. We ordered items because we want to eat said food item, not because we think it’s a fun game. We asked to speak to a manager 1/3 (yesterday) and she said she was the manager. Sad this establishment is going down hill due to poor hiring.

We ate here twice during our week long vacation. The food is pretty standard for the fare, but it was delicious. The staff was extremely short-handed and our waitress was amazing through the fray, keeping tables clean and cycling people in and out effectively.
They had some interesting sushi too.
The food was probably the best I’ve ever had and everyone was so nice! I have no complaints whatsoever.

When we walked in at 6:30pm for dinner, the manager made a point to mention they were under-staffed again. We should have turned around and immediately left. It took over half an hour for the one server to take our order and after an hour, one of the two entrees had not arrived. We were told this order had been lost.
I can honestly say it’s been a very long time since I’ve had such a disappointing dining experience!! While the food itself was of good quality the service was extremely poor and made the visit unpleasant!
We sat down and placed our drink and appetizer orders and main dishes a bit later, but about 30 minutes later, our main meals arrived before any appetizers! When we mentioned this to our server, she apologized and said she’d check on it, but another 30–45 minutes went by with no updates and no one checking in on us!
When she finally returned and we asked for the check, she asked if we had ever received our appetizers which we hadn’t. We waited another 20–25 minutes with our card ready to pay, but again, no follow-up. Eventually, we walked to the front desk to pay and even then, no one apologized or acknowledged the poor service!
It’s disappointing because the food was actually good, but the lack of attentiveness and accountability from the staff completely ruined the experience! We won’t be returning, as there are plenty of other restaurants with both great food and respectful, attentive service!

I sat down for dinner and it was only my table of 2 and 2-3 other small tables there. I ordered drinks and soups first and then a couple rolls of sushi and an entree shortly after. Only the sushi and drinks show up. But apparently it got busy and our orders were forgotten. So just keep in mind if you’re not a party of rich locals you will most likely be ignored and leave hungry.

I love fresh raw sushi and this is the best in the DC area. Try the “wicked tuna” roll and add sesame oil to the masago on top. Wow.

This has to be the best Thai and Sushi I’ve had in a very long time. My wife and I got the Drunken noodles, the cherry blossoms roll, the tear drop roll, and the Tonkotsu Ramen. None of or meal options disappointed. My favorite was the spicy drunken noodles with chicken and duck.
