This is a well run establishment. Thanks again to Jen and the staff for taking a minute to help me out. ALL of the food here is top notch, especially the sides. Classic BBQ joint atmosphere. When I'm in the area I have to stop by for something. My dog absolutely loves the twice smoked bones!

Fantastic place to eat, there is a Louisiana flair happening and it’s real, all my Nola readers…. Don’t expect lidenhimers bread, but the shrimp poboy hits the spot and is a good college effort. The Mac n cheese is fantastic, and the bbq plater is full and delicious!

First off the environment is super cool with old trinkets and collectables everywhere. The Staff were very personable and quickly suggested the brisket or the ribs.. we happened to stop at 3pm so the ribs were gone but the brisket came out not hot but more room temperature. Other than this it was delicious and so was the coleslaw and hushpuppies! Highly recommend but try to hit it at lunch time so it's fresh.

This was some of the best BBQ I have had in a very long time! My bf and I were craving some BBQ on our trip and decided to check this place out and I'm so glad we did. From the meat down to the side salad everything was absolutely delicious. A fun small mom and pop place to sit and have a beer and some fantastic food!
The food is good, but lord have mercy on my wallet. Portion to price ratio is no bueno. And if you order through delivery service there’s always something missing.

Great place to get ready for the holiday! Fantastic pulled pork, broccoli salad, country ham and pies (especially key line)!!
The folks at Shaff Ed s were the friendliest! The atmosphere is kitschy and unique, a fun stop. It was clean, as were the restrooms. The downside? The ribs. The flavors were good, and the sauce was a great vinegar base. But the ribs were half inedible. Burned to leather. It was a shame because the part that wasn't burned was tender. For being in the south, the sweet tea was a bit bland but not terrible.
