“Wow! This was SO good! We got the Jerk Pork and the Chicken Chop Suey. First, I had to drive home for 20 minutes tortured by the delicious smells in my car, but it was worth the wait. I think I liked the Jerk Pork slightly more, but both were fabulous.”

The gluten free cheese ravioli was excellent and it's such a treat to find gluten free ravioli!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options, even ravioli and various other pasta! Server was knowledgeable about gluten sensitivity.”

“21 years after holding our wedding reception at the Wayside, we returned in Feb 2024 to hold a big birthday brunch. We were pleased in every possible way; from management to staff to setup to food, to facility and to prices charged, we could not have been mote satisfied. I think it very telling that the Wayside has a rating over 8 on a popular travel site while a nearby chain hotel that charges nearly twice as much for a room has a rating of only 4. I will go return to the Wayside for my next special event!”

“We were in Winchester for a meeting and decided to try Taqueria Guadalajara for lunch. We're originally from California now living in Northern VA so I'm very picky with Mexican food. This restaurant did not disappoint. In fact, it's one of the most authentic Mexican food places. Definitely NOT Tex-Mex! I had menudo and hubby had barbacoa sopes and they were excellent (see pictures). I met two families here who were also from Southern California! You've got to try it here!”

“A friend and I drove from Winchester for breakfast and it was definitely worth the trip!! It was so busy when we arrived, we got the last table! I have a baby in a car seat and the staff were so thoughtful in trying to get us the best table to fit the baby. Our server was a sweet older lady. She was so friendly and attentive and something about her made you feel like you were at grandmas house! I got an omelette and I thought it was great. No big to-do just a normal omelette and I loved it. My friend got the French toast meal and it looks delicious, she said it was great! The prices were very reasonable and the place was cute! I will be back and I recommend others try it!”

“The crab cake super platter is "disturbingly good"!The meal started with a side order of hushpuppies and melted butter. One can tell immediately they were hand made on the spot and fried to perfection.Next came the platter...The very large shrimp were fried to a perfect light brown in color. Butter and sauce are available.The crab cake is something to write home about. Seriously, there are zero-point-zero fillers or binders. 100% lump crab. Buttery smooth and delicately spiced. The sides of mac & cheese and the potato salad were a nice accompaniment but stand in the shadow of the crab cake.The price may seem high, but this is no joke and worth every penny.The open kitchen and casual atmosphere are at odds with a meal that should be served on fine China.”

“We found Crabby Maggie's about 3 years ago on a trip from Nashville Tn to York Pa. Since then, the ownership has changed hands but ALL the greatness we discovered 3 years ago continued. Although we only get to visit a time or 2 a year, it's an experience we look forward to each time. “My wife and I stopped in to avoid the chain restaurants. We were immediately surprised to find how clean it was and how friendly the staff was. Andy, our server was awesome and had a great personality and attitude towards helping everyone, and I mean everyone! The food was fantastic and big portions.
