Just recently had my wedding at the Wayside Inn. I can't express what an absolute joy it was to work with Bill and Amanda. They made my wedding so easy and stress free. From their professionalism in having everything laid out including multiple options to Bill offering to officiate and MC the event. It's truly an all in one venue. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed more!
Owner provided a level 1 charger for our electric vehicle, and the dogs were very happy with all the wonderful smells from the restaurant.

We have stayed at the Wayside Inn several times over the past 17 years and this past weekend we were amazed at the improvements made. The atmosphere was great, the new dining situation was MUCH improved and the food fantastic. Staff was wonderful. The only drawback was that the air conditioner in our room, the Middletown, was a bit noisy. It woke us up occasionally.

The Wayside Inn is a charming and historic establishment that has consistently impressed its guests. The attentive staff provide excellent bartending and waiting services, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Head Chef Dawn's culinary skills are acclaimed, with the crab cakes being a particular highlight. The rooms, though lacking some modern amenities, are clean, spacious, and comfortable, many featuring genuine antiques or period furniture that add to the historic atmosphere. Guests have praised the Wayside for its exceptional value, with the establishment maintaining a high rating on travel sites despite its reasonable prices. The restaurant's in-house food and drinks are very nice, and visitors often enjoy exploring the history, including the well and various relics displayed throughout the inn. The host Brittany and her staff go out of their way to show guests the history and details of the building and grounds. The place is unreal, with architecture, furniture, and decor from another century, creating a very historic and extremely atmospheric experience. The seasonal decorations are festive and spirited, adding to the charm of this lovely old historic inn.
