The ice cream we ordered—white chocolate raspberry and peanut butter with chocolate sprinkles—had no flavor at all, which is so unlike what we’ve come to expect from Moothur. We’re not ones to complain, but we felt it was important to let you know. Has something changed with how the ice cream is being made? “Visited for the first time tonight as my son is a new employee and it seemed like the right thing to do. The food: I had the Fried Goat Cheese salad and the Baked Potato Soup. The salad was excellent. Lots of field greens and plentiful toppings. Fried Goat Cheese is always a winner. The Baked Potato Soup was also fantastic. Plentiful toppings and excellent rashers! The staff: Friendly and attentive. As an employer: Great family business approach and an extension of the village that parents count on to help raise their children. All around great experience.”

“We went to Denim & Pearls in Warrenton for dinner tonight with friends. What a lovely dining experience. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our group ordered the baked brie and the fried pork belly for appetizers. It was very good especially the baked brie. For dinners we ordered the beef short ribs, shrimp skewers, beef short rib pasta, and a wedge salad with beef skewer. And for dessert we ordered the bread pudding. Everything was yummy. Definitely a nice dining experience for all of us tonight at Denim & Pearls. I recommend giving them a try. ?”

“Server was inundated with customers and never brought me the beer I ordered. When steaks arrived server, not the one we started with, asked if we needed anything else. I mentioned the beer and said to just forget about it. He must have told manager as she showed up immediately and offered the beer at no charge. I refused but she insisted so it was delivered. Nice gesture that kind of made up for original ommission.”

“I think Fauquier needs to admit how underrated this place is. The baked chicken and dill potato salad is my go to. Plus, they serve a delicious Salvadoran stew made with chicken gizzard. I forgot the name but I can assure you it is divine. The first time I had this was when I lived in Texas. So happy I found in Virginia. They always have food fresh and made to order. The stuffed peppers are great and the fried tilapia. Plus papusa and tamales. I hope they serve lengua one day.”
