Applebee's Grill + Bar

I really like the Applebee's in Victorian Square, Midlothian! It's easily my favorite location.. The staff is consistently friendly and genuinely enthusiastic, making each visit a pleasure. I've been there twice in the past few weeks, both solo trips, and the cheeseburgers were outstanding.. the best I've had at any Applebee's! On my third visit, I brought a 9 year old who raved about his sirloin. I tried the Bourbon Street Steak, which was also fantastic. He’s already planning a return trip with his family! The consistently great food and service are pretty impressive. I hope they maintain this level of excellence. Keep up the enthusiasm. It's hard to believe there are any negative reviews.. they’re doing things right! I don’t understand how they have negative reviews..

Everything good and hot

Chicken was dry. Mashed potatoes were luke warm. Coleslaw was at least tasty. Seated quickly and waitress did a good job, but disappointed in food and food presentation. Overpriced for what was served.

Staff was nice, even in the bathroom.

I've had good and bad experiences at this Applebee's. This last visit was great. Food was good. Prices were excellent. Service was very attentive. Would strongly recommend.

The chicken was half frozen & the fris were cold.

The quesadilla burger was tasty but messy. Bahama mama definitely adjusted my mood after a hectic day.

Professional Staff and Great Food!!

Dining in is hit or miss depending on who you get. Food is always good, which is why recently I've been ordering the takeout. Food's always ready. People acknowledge me as soon as i come in. And make sure I've been helped.

The server didn't bring extra plates except when asked to. He didn't refill my drink. He seemed distracted.

Extremely slow service. As a platinum Doordash driver, my time is money. When I arrive to pick up an order, I expect it to be ready.

Michael was great with our family! Ask for him the next time you go!

Very good food and excellent service.

Seven of us went out to celebrate a family birthday. We were seated quickly. The restaurant was not crowded. After 20 minutes we had to go to the hostess and ask her to let our waitress know that we had been waiting and no one had come to greet us or take drink orders.
Eventually we got our foods. All but one order was correct. They corrected the messed up kid's order quickly.
Even though we asked for refills, I went through half my meal and all of my dessert with an empty glass.
I am thinking the family will not be likely to celebrate and spend our money here again.
Also, when the wait staff fails like this the restaurant is also failing and will end up closing.
A very disappointing experience this evening.

This place so damn ghetto and unprofessional. Then we had to wait on our drink for over 20 minutes. The server had checked us out and got everyone else’s drink except ours. Then we asked for a drink to go but they don’t let us take alcohol to go. Well duh we wouldn’t ask if we didn’t have to wait over 20 minutes for our drink (mind you we had to get multiple peoples attention because no one was trying to help. Our server disappeared). Then manager at this location was VERY unapologetic to top it off and we had to request for a refund.
