Great service and love the food/drinks!
My daughter has been on a boba kick lately but we live in an area that doesn’t have any kind of boba tea available. We decided to drive the hour to Ben Wong’s in Midlothian to try it out. We ordered two different drinks and three mochi donuts from the kiosk. Unfortunately one of the drinks we ordered didn’t have the boba we added and the other drink (taro milk tea) ordered with popping boba had both popping and brown sugar boba. Normally I wouldn’t say anything but my daughter isn’t a fan of tapioca boba and couldn’t drink the drink. A young male (tall with brown hair) made the drinks but wasn’t at the counter so I told the young lady working the counter that the drink was wrong and that he put both bobas in the wrong drink. She kindly went to remake the drink. My husband and daughter witnessed the young male back at the counter asking her what she was doing. She explained the issue with the drink, he rolled his eyes and loudly said he didn’t make the drinks wrong, jerked some empty boxes around and stomped out the door with a huge attitude. He certainly made my drink incorrectly because I paid for boba that was NOT in my drink. The young lady (who was very pleasant) explained that the taro milk tea comes with traditional boba, I apologized and told her that we didn’t realize and that we were sorry to inconvenience her but that he DID make my drink incorrectly because I paid for boba that he didn’t put in my cup. She gave me boba is a separate cup.
The drinks were fine, but this young mans attitude was absolutely uncalled for and is the only reason I would never go back to Ben Wong’s Tea again. Mistakes are easy to make and not a big deal, it’s just a drink, but his attitude was entitled and gross. After driving an hour just to try something new only to be met with such terrible customer service…
Hopefully the owner/manager sees this comment and can offer some additional training to this employee on how to conduct himself more professionally in front of customers.
Love this spot it’s clean and the food is beautiful all of it looks soooooo good I want to try everything thanks for making me a pineapple mojito even when it’s not on the menu for the day … my favorite new place to go !!!
Best boba I’ve ever had! Perfectly balanced flavor and texture. I also tried their coconut cream cheese bun—super soft and flavorful. Highly recommend both!
The people working will seem visibly annoyed if you do not order on the kiosk. The young lady working there did not greet us and had a stoic face the entire exchange. There was very unwelcoming response despite the place not being busy at all. They will either direct customers to the kiosk or ignore customers in the front to avoid taking orders. Drinks were okay, but not worth the terrible service.
Everything was delicious, the staff is great, the atmosphere is incredible and I will definitely keep coming back!
Best bubble tea around!
Great atmosphere and very helpful employees. They have delicious treats and milk alternatives.
First time trying a Korean Hotdog and my son and I could not be more satisfied. The experience was just like a review from a tick tock video. We also had a Ben Wongs slush with the flavor boba. Everything was a 10/10 will be back again!
My was going great then it went downhill then I got Ben Wong's strawberry matcha latte and the day and it's sweet
Ben's has machine style donuts in a variety of flavors. They also have a assortment of Boba Tea's and drinks, with Korean fried chicken and Corndogs, you most definitely can't go wrong!!! If your in Chesterfield it's certainly worth it!!!!

A quiet boba gem in Midlothian. Friendly, speedy service with accurate orders. Great weekend selection of donuts and pastries. Clean bathrooms, plenty of seating, and convenient open parking out front. Sister location in Willow Lawn.
Tiramisu coffee and strawberry matcha latte were divine. (I did think the strawberry matcha was a bit too sweet, but drinks with purees are often like that).
The katsu sando was kind of sad though. The katsu itself was crispy but the flavor was lacking—mayo and cabbage alone as accompaniments were lackluster
Great service, Delicious Teas and the cashier was friendly and polite
I love Ben Wong's tea, my favorite is the sparkling strawberry tea. they also have really good mochi donuts. it's i nice place, i would recomend it.
Great fruit tea and the boba were just right
