Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

this is a busy Cracker Barrell due to its location. Food was good and hot. It is fairly organized so you get pretty fast service. The store manager even helps out when it gets busy.

I get delivery or pickup about once a week. In the past month or so, anything with eggs or breakfast items (including hash browns) have tasted like dishwater. It actually smells like a commercial kitchen sink full of day old service dishes and some foul cheap chemicals. If you've ever worked in a restaurant, you know the exact smell I'm talking about. Something is wrong back there, with the water, the dishes, the prep or some combination thereof. It sucks because this was a long-time go to for me. I still get the pot roast and fried chicken, which don't seem to be impacted. Now that I think about it, that dish comes pre-packaged, so the contamination has to do with the grill or steam line or both.

Add Cracker Barrel restaurant on South La Vernon Ave. service was terrible. I sit at my table for 10 minutes. No one come by ask was it anything I could help you with anything to drink or the service was terrible. No service at all and I asked for the manager I told her no one stop at my table, she said I’m sorry you should not have to wait 10 minutes. I told me manager it was a bad review for this restaurant. Thank you

What happen to this place. Grits was like soup. Sausage had no taste and county ham was a piece of fat. Nasty!!!

I visited the Cracker Barrel on Craig Rath Blvd in Midlothian and had to give it 5 stars. The host extended a warm and friendly greeting when I arrived as well as when I was leaving My server, Arianna, was great! She was conversational, ensured accuracy in taking my order, and made sure that the meal was satisfactory. The ladies at the checkout counter were friendly as well. Overall, this was a great experience. This will be my go to location for country favorites.

It was ok. I ordered breakfast with toast and it never came. I asked the waitress and she stated that they had a new toaster and it took a little longer. Then asked a few minutes later and she said she would go check. She came back with the checks. We just paid and left because I had already finished eating the rest.

Arrived at 9:40pm after a long drive. My waitress was very polite and her smile was very welcoming. My wife and I were served promptly and the food was delicious. We were traveling via RV and breakfast was equally delicious. We purchased a much needed cast iron skillet we were pleasantly surprised to find.

Knew it was going to be a bad experience, when you get a dinner menu for breakfast. Food took for ever to arrive and it was barely worth eating.
Nobody wants to eat cold eggs and sausage 😒

Ate breakfast this morning at the Cracker Barrel on Hull St. and it was delicious. Had the Momma's Pancake Breakfast. They were extremely busy but the service I received was awesome. Will be returning in the near future.

Whatever and whoever has changed in the last few months, please change it and bring them back! The food has tasted horrible the last few times that I've gone. Pancakes tonight was doughy, very mushy. I asked for them to be re-made and cooked longer and they weren't. Still the same. Everything brought to me was cold, except for the re-made cakes. Steak tips didn't taste goid. The manager looked like he didn't have a care in the world. I ended up paying more for my meal, by paying seperately for my food with the cakes being removed from my bill. A waste of my time and money. Definitely won't be back to this location
