From out of state and randomly ended up at Mr. Pepe's after a long tournament day. We were blown away with our choice and could not get over the INCREDIBLE food, fantastic prices and awesome staff. Authentic in every way, even down to the music. The food was so delicious that we paced ourselves so we did not have to throw any of it away as we couldn't take it back to the hotel room. If you can't find something to love on the menu, then Mexican food is not for you! We ordered a burrito and tacos and even the refried beans and rice were delicious. We've been coming to this tournament for years and have passed Mr. Pepe's several times without stopping. We have spread the word and next year, the whole team will join us!

Terrible service, terrible food. We waited about 25 minutes after ordering for my meal to show up-and my husband's didn't come for another 15 minutes and only after a trip to the front. No apologies at all. My meal was incredibly salty. I had to ask for refills on my iced tea and never did get any equal to go with it. People who came ten minutes after us were served long before my husband's food came. There was no sense that any of the staff cared about any of the patrons. Will not be going back and will actively discourage others from going. Just nasty.

Wellllllllll someone should call a health inspector. I came here to eat after enjoying a family day in Richmond. Unfortunately it was not until after I asked for the check that I noticed this disgusting roach crawling around the wall RIGHT NEXT TO ME!

I read some prior reviews and idk what went on when people were here, but this restaurant is like the ultimate rainy day comfort Mexican food spot near woodlake. Also the wait staff and owner is super polite and professional. The portions here are huge you'll definitely have leftovers. Also the chips are super warm and crispy and the white sauce is that little bit of sweet white sauce that I always like. Some restaurants make it salty. The chori Pollo was delicious. Love this place. The waitress also made sure we were comfortable in the smaller booth when we were sat because my boyfriend is basically the size of a linebacker lol. Yum yum yum

If you want a good Mexican dish, don't even bother eating here. The food was bland! Pretty disappointed with everything we ordered, not even the chips were good, they tasted burned! Don't waste you time here.

my husband and i went here and the white sauce that came with the chips was amazing. The waitress barely spoke english, but we got by. i ordered shrimp tacos, and liked them a lot. my husband had a big platter, and i dont remember what was n it, but he liked it.

Dang Mr Pepe! Why are y'all so P E T T Y?!?!? So you mean to tell me that 6 full meals only deserve 1 order of chips and salsa? I asked the waitress/hostess/girl at the register for more chips explaining that the single order would not split well amongst the 6 meals and she relayed that it is Mr Pepe's policy to provide a single order of chips and salsa for each order and our 6 MEALS count as a single order. The lady behind me thought that was funny too. And my steak was cold while the foil is hot. How do you do that? FYI. This was at the Woodlake Commons location. And the food was honestly not bad, once I heated it up

Your average Mexican restaurant. Good food with free chips. Margarita was 2.99 and a good size. I left full. It's clean and fast service. I would come back.

Food was burned third time recently also all the staff we’ve grown to love has left and seemingly gone to the Chester location. Sad this was our fave for probably a solid 8 years .

Supreme tacos was a let down and service was very poor. Took 4 times asking to get more chips. There was only one singular tomato on the top.... had to ask for more. Rude server, couldn't split the check for my date and I. Walter you can do better.
