This was the very first visit for me and my family and we were very impressed!! The friendly staff, the food selection, the prices, the atmosphere just everything was amazing!! We got our food quick and everything was DELICIOUS!! Even walking out the door we were asked how everything was. We will absolutely recommend and we will be back for sure!
It's the best in the area
Great place! Service was good, not crowded!
So I've eaten at eggs up in the past, but unfortunately, I will say this was the worst experience I've had. My plate of food was cold when it came out, and I had to ask for it to be reheated once the plate came back, Everything was hot and as I attempted to eat my eggs I found a long strand of hair in my eggs, so you can only imagine my reaction. I gave a 3 Star for the service due to them deducting the meal. The server was great and handled everything politely.
I ordered their most simplest egg breakfast called the “Classic Benny” for take out. The egg benedict were more raw then when my mom and dad conceived me. Other than the eggs being under-cooked, it also had multiple shell pieces in it as I took my second bite. The potatoes tasted like a boiled potato. No seasoning or flavor. Honestly HUGE waste of my money. Will definitely not come back.
The food was outstanding!!! The atmosphere was cool, although, we went at a really busy time so it was pretty loud.
Our server did her best to ignore us, but when she would show up she was pleasant. I had to ask her her a couple of times so we could get drinks, order food etc... I had the Creme brulee French toast with sausage and home fries... I mean wow!!!!! The custard was delightful without being overly sweet, the sausage patties were small but had a ton of flavor and were spicy in the perfect way to cut the richness off the French toast.
The home fries were made with red skin potatoes and were crispy and soft as well as perfectly seasoned.
If you have the chance, go... It was well worth it
It was our first time here and I have to say we really enjoyed both the atmosphere and the menu! It turned out to be a sweet and lovely Mother’s Day. We’ve now added a new spot to our list of places to enjoy family breakfasts. Thank you!
Super busy on a Sunday morning after church. Think it overwhelmed the staff. Took a little longer than expected to get food and refills of coffee.

We just walked out.No service .About 1/3 full. Was seated immediately and that's it.Later.
I only marked 2 stars because the gentlemen that waited on us was very nice. The potatoes were cold and the meat was salty. I will not be returning to this place again.

I've been coming to Eggs up for years, the Midlothian location and more recently the Hull st. Location.
The service is always top notch- the people are so friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is a classic diner setting which is always nice, to just sit and enjoy your friends and your coffee.
As I said, I've been coming for years, partly because I love the food. Try the founders hash! In fact do yourself a favor and have the founders hash Benedict.
This time I had oatmeal, fruit and country ham. Did NOT like. The ham was salty (I get that country ham IS salty, but this was inedible). The oatmeal was a clump of not-good.
And the fruit-well many places put in melon with their berries. The problem is the berries are delicious and fresh, while melon tends to get slimey almost immediately.
Definitely go to Eggs up grill, consider this one bad experience as feedback from me to an otherwise great place.

was greeted with a smile which is nice. The bacon was good however the french toast was hard as if the bread may have been old i could barely cut it and wasn’t to fond of the eggs when i ask for scrambled eggs that what i expect not a egg just thrown in and flipped

My family and I decided to try out this restaurant, we have been talking about it for quite awhile. The staff were very polite, atmosphere was a nice homey feel to it, and the food was delicious.
We are definitely coming back again to try out some of the other delicious food that was on the menu.
The server, Dontrey, was a very polite and helped us with all the questions we had!
