I typically love their family meals BUT today I got the food truck - I placed a mobile order and waited until the time it said it would be ready, and when I went to the truck they hadn't even acknowledged/started the order so I still had to wait and then there was a piece of broccoli trunk in my cheese dip and a large piece of plastic... SO disappointing!

We first discovered El Guapo at a Richmond Kickers soccer game and we were hooked when we had their amazing nachos.
I am a small business owner myself and love supporting small family owned local businesses. I had the chance to meet the owner and his family at their restaurant near the Foodlion off of Genito and Hull Street road.
The family welcomed us with big smiles, our food was amazing, they are hard working, very passionate about their business, and I have nothing but nice things to say.
I wish them the best with growing their business and I am happy to hear they now have seating at their restaurant. Oh you can guarantee we are going their to eat!
Highly recommend you check them out. Oh and try the street corn!

Had a taco flight and naxhos at center of the universe. The chicken in oarticular was amazingly good. All the food was freash and tasty. I will be looling for El Guapo in the future!!

Stopped by after work to grab some dinner and this spot delivers. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla with fries and the tres leche cake. My husband ordered 3 tacos( carnitas, carne asada, and shrimp) and the churros. Every was well seasoned and fresh. Even the fries were delicious. I would definitely eat here again. Probably very soon.

We hired El Guapo food truck for our backyard wedding this past June. They were awesome to work with. They set up a chips and dips bar and served guests from the truck efficiently and quickly. It made for such a fun guest experience. They also have such a large menu option for weddings. I was very pleased with the value for the variety of choices as well as how quickly everyone was served. We had 80 guests and they were all served in about an hour and fifteen mins. Not to mention the food is delicious! Highly recommend!
