We happened to be in the shopping center and decided to try it. When we stepped in, it wasn't what we were expecting but decided to try it anyway. I'm so glad we did! The food was really good and I loved the blue tortillas! I will definitely come here again!

Must try! I got the street tacos and let me tell yall.. FLAVORFUL! The steak was tender, onions with cilantro and some sauce. Perfect street taco. A great grab and go place, but there’s inside seating too. They’ll see me again.

I've been to plenty of Mexican restaurants. El guapo tops all of them in RVA. The food is incredible, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend their tacos or burritos. Ive tried majority of their menu and haven't had a bad meal yet! 10/10 for me.

you might ask how can one create amazing Mexican food but the food at El Guapo is just exceptional. Kind of blown away by how good just a basic burrito and tacos could taste. Only quibble is the DC level pricing!

I got the chips and queso which was an unexpectedly large portion, to go with my birria tacos. Everything was great, especially the choco flan. It's a layer of flan on top of chocolate cake and holy toledo, it is good.

The best Mexican food I’ve had. The tacos are the best and they make their own tortillas. Their horchata and other homemade drinks are great. They are consistently good too. Been coming here since 2021 (I think). Just incredible!

I had a taste for Barria tacos and street corn so I stopped by. This place did not fail! Food was fresh and the taste was awesome. Biting into the taco and hearing that slight crunch made everything worth the time. Customer service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very festive. The prices are great for the area, service and taste. Also, I ordered the Horchata drink and it was amazing great cleansing pallet. I give this a solid 10
