I’ve been a loyal customer here for about a year and have always loved the food until my recent experience. Last night, I ordered as usual Fried Chicken Rice and unfortunately found a black bug that looked like a baby roach in my meal. I was devastated and had to throw out both meals because, honestly, how could we know if the bug wasn’t cooked in the whole pot?

I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner, but she only offered a refund for one meal, even though both were wasted. I’m truly disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but I can no longer return after this experience.

Please be cautious and check your food before eating. Thankfully, I found the bug at the bottom of the container but not before I had already eaten half.

This is our go-to spot on the Southside for Thai. Anything you want, they have. Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Thai Fried Rice, Thai Egg Rolls.

Food is awesome, consistently so. Tiny the owner is super sweet, and always has a smile and a kind word when picking up your food. I've reccomended this place to several of my closest friends and will continue to go here as long as I can.

I have eaten Thai all over the city and Esann is by fair my favorite Truthfully blow away how good the food is. Food is fresh, meat is tender, spice was perfect. Highly recommend!

This place is EXCELLENT. The food is great and they give you a ton of it. They're always so nice when I get take out. Love their Pad Thai. Some of the best Thai food in Richmond and easily the best in the Midlo area.

They have some of the best spring rolls I've had. Definitely recommend getting them for sure. All the other food is pretty tasty also, but the spring rolls are a must

Best Thai place around!! We have loved everything we've tried on their menu, and we've probably tried half the menu at this point, so I don't think you can ever go wrong. They are all very kind in addition to being attentive. And they're always on point with time estimates for picking up food! They also did half the catering for our wedding, it was just drop off catering, so we had to have the setup ready, but it was such a great experience - I would highly recommend them for buffet style catering.

best Thai in Richmond area and it's not even close.

We enjoyed the food here the first two times. This evening the good was not made to the spice level requested. The quantity was smaller than before and it was not tasty. Disappointed.

The Panang Curry is the best I've had in the area! Literally my favorite and has hit all 3 times I've ordered. Staff is super friendly, service is quick. This is a new go-to for me! Thank you!
