We visited this past Saturday, overall the food was very tasty, didn’t love the pulled chicken by itself, definitely needed the bbq sauce, but literally everything else hit the spot: burnt ends sandwich (its BBQ sauce, OMG 🤤), cole slaw, smoked wings (as a “side” 😉), French fries, mini cornbread muffins, limeade! But what made this a great first visit here was our server, Alyssa! She was SO patient with us even though we were doing thee absolute most, needing everything under the sun! She was so customer focused & kept a great attitude the entire time! We had to tell her manager how wonderful of a job she did with us. We hope it made your day Alyssa, many blessings to you lady! 🥰 Will definitely visit again!

The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the selection is terrific! I wish I had taken pictures of our food but we ate it too quickly!!

The food was good but the highlight was our waitress named Alyssa. We were a party of 4 with 2 adults a 5 yr old and an infant. Needless to say it was a lot going on at our table and no matter what we asked for she remained so patient...much more than I could have ever. We called the manager over to let her know what a gem she had bc customer service is not the same anymore..she was amazing.

I never learn my lesson with takeout from here. We typically eat in because their takeout times are nuts.
My daughter ordered takeout and was quoted 50-55 minutes. We got there at exactly an hour. Food not ready. Waited an additional 20 minutes. The teammate helping me was super apologetic. He kept telling me that it was ready and then they were bagging it up. I was going to let it go. Except when I got home, the burger and fries were cold. Not warm… cold. There’s no way this was freshly done and bagged. We only ordered the BLT burger/ fries and 2 half salads. The burger was ordered with extra onions. There was no L, no T and not even the regular onion much less the extra onions.
We tried to call and resolve but no answer. I let it circle through the prompts 3x. Before you ask, it wasn’t busy! Servers milling around.
This place is super popular as when they get it right, it’s good. They definitely need to invest more time and thought to their take out process, wait time and food execution.

We used to love the Flying Pig a couple years ago and decided to go today. The worst food ever!! The boneless wings had way too much breading to the point it was disgusting. Three of us ordered boneless wings and they were all the same. Mine actually came without sauce on them because the waiter put in two sauces by mistake and they weren’t sure which one I requested. I ordered the brisket ends taco which I LOVED before and it was soggy and gross. The BBQ was DRY and hard to swallow. We spent $100 and threw away over half of our food. We will never go to The Flying Pig again.
Great place. Good food.
The ribs were good. Barbecue was dry and not as tasty as the last time. The coleslaw and chili were very good.
Delicious wings, but their whole menu is pretty exorbitantly expensive.
Not what it once was honestly. Price up, portions down. and $10 for Miller lite? Come on.
Beware of takeout from Flying Pig. We've ordered 3 times and every time they've forgotten something in the order. First it was sauce, then it was an entire side of fries and Cole slaw. The third time they forgot the sauce again so I went back and got some. Only to find out when I got home that they forgot the Cole Slaw and the butter for the hush puppies.
It's wild. They absolutely can not be trusted to get a takeout order correct. You HAVE to go through the whole order and even look inside the containers while other people wait behind you in line.
Food is honestly good though. And the staff is nice and courteous. Which is why it's so frustrating they can't just get an order right.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Midlothian, VA! Their food is always delicious. You’ve got to try their wings and nachos! Their salads are so good too, the croutons they use are made of sweet cornbread and just absolutely amazing. We’ve been many, many times over the years. They have daily specials and they’re all quite popular. Depending on the day/time you may have a bit of a wait. Their kids meals include drinks and are huge portions for ~$8.
Good food and drinks!
The food here is great, the service for to-go orders is terrible. I've come twice now for to-go both times I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes and it took about 1.5 hours. The guy behind the stand was nice asking if I'd like a drink while I wait but then never brought it.
Long and unreasonable wait time as it wasn't that busy, maybe they were short staffed?
Wings- tried 3 different ones, all below average.
Shrimp tacos- good portion size and tasty but not worth coming back to the restaurant for.
Overall = will not return.
Great local place for BBQ options in a sports bar setting.
