Great place. Good food.

The ribs were good. Barbecue was dry and not as tasty as the last time. The coleslaw and chili were very good.

Delicious wings, but their whole menu is pretty exorbitantly expensive.

Not what it once was honestly. Price up, portions down. and $10 for Miller lite? Come on.

Beware of takeout from Flying Pig. We've ordered 3 times and every time they've forgotten something in the order. First it was sauce, then it was an entire side of fries and Cole slaw. The third time they forgot the sauce again so I went back and got some. Only to find out when I got home that they forgot the Cole Slaw and the butter for the hush puppies.

It's wild. They absolutely can not be trusted to get a takeout order correct. You HAVE to go through the whole order and even look inside the containers while other people wait behind you in line.

Food is honestly good though. And the staff is nice and courteous. Which is why it's so frustrating they can't just get an order right.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Midlothian, VA! Their food is always delicious. You’ve got to try their wings and nachos! Their salads are so good too, the croutons they use are made of sweet cornbread and just absolutely amazing. We’ve been many, many times over the years. They have daily specials and they’re all quite popular. Depending on the day/time you may have a bit of a wait. Their kids meals include drinks and are huge portions for ~$8.

The food here is great, the service for to-go orders is terrible. I've come twice now for to-go both times I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes and it took about 1.5 hours. The guy behind the stand was nice asking if I'd like a drink while I wait but then never brought it.

Long and unreasonable wait time as it wasn't that busy, maybe they were short staffed?
Wings- tried 3 different ones, all below average.
Shrimp tacos- good portion size and tasty but not worth coming back to the restaurant for.

Overall = will not return.

We’ve always had a great meal at the Flyin’ Pig. Tonight was no exception. Busy with a wait but the staff was in top of it. Our server, Carlos, was fantastic - friendly, helpful, and never stopped moving. Kept us well informed of food wait and drinks full.

The food is always good! Unfortunately there were several issues that needed to be addressed the last time we were there. We asked for a booth and ended up getting a table that had broken legs and was by the pick up table close to the door, and of course it was a cold day. The hostess didn’t really say much after we asked about the booth stating “I didn’t see booth on your thing”. The server politely apologized in advance for any mishaps that may occur, which to me is a turnoff and upfront excuse. Our cheese fries ended up being overcooked and dry, which this was the second time this has happened. Also, we received our salads after our food, even after requesting them before the meal. Other than the cheese fries being the way they were, the food was really good and usually is. We’ve been eating there for years but the service is starting to decline some. It would be great if the kitchen issues could be addressed and some additional customer service training could be done with the hostess team. I know it’s easier said than done, but this most recent experience was a little bit much.

An "I don't give a rip" attitude by all wearing a "Flyin' Pig t-shirt, in combination with food that this restaurant should be embarrassed to serve= NEVER AGAIN. When you have to ask for a server 20 minutes after being seated, wait 45 minutes for food, and drain a puddle of grease from an overpriced 1/4 cup of pork BBQ, something's amiss from the top down. This place was a favorite local spot at one time, now it is one to avoid at all costs. Pass it by. This pig has flown.

We were surprised at how we were treated. I've been to The Flying Pig many times, recommend it and ordered many meals to go over the years. Now, I won't go back.Tonight, I ordered the brisket tacos. They had so much bbq sauce on them it was like eating bbq sauce by the spoonful, they were prepared nothing like the menu description (sorry i didn't take a pic, it was clearly visible without even tasting).
When I told the waitress I was unable to eat them she said "sorry, would you like a box?"
I didn't need a box for something that I couldn't eat. I thought I would have been offered another meal. Instead, the waitress added the manager won't do anything about it.
So, we paid for a meal that was left on the table, left our drinks, my partner took his home, as he didn't want me to just sit and watch him eat. Things happen, but it was a situation that could have been fixed, instead, sorry to say, a one star was earned. The atmosphere gets one star only because of the waitress' comment as she walked away
I called the next day to make sure management understood what happened and was told "they know". Lol, definitely correct on the one star.
