This is our go-to sushi spot. The food is made with love. It is a step above other sushi restaurants throughout the Richmond area. Service is very friendly and prompt. Everything is tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy, homey, and casual. High quality wasabi and other ingredients - no cutting corners. Non-sushi items very good too.

Sushi, beef and broccoli bento, and the miso soup were good. The calamari, however, was chewy and overcooked.
The takoyaki was just okay. Now, I will admit that my opinion of this may be bias as I have tried fresh made Takoyaki while traveling Japan. It would be worth trying yourself.
The restaurant was clean, and the staff was attentive.

This is a very small place that freshly makes your sushi order. The food is very, and I mean, very nicely worked up. The food is colorful and gorgeous when set down in front of you. I thought the food was very delicious and of high quality. Very well done by a sushi chef who knows what they are doing. The rolls that we had were very nicely prepared.
The atmosphere is small with limited seating. But, being smaller, you can carry on a conversation with the person you are with, which was nice. Have been going there for years and keep going back. Love it.

I had a bad experience about 20 years ago when a recruiter took me to a sushi place. He gave me a bad introduction to sushi, told me everything a first time eater shouldn't eat starting out. What ended up happening was I haven't had sushi like I said in about 20 years.
I checked out the reviews for this restaurant and gave it a try. I ordered a couple of things and everything's fantastic. I loved it. I've ordered here several times and this is my go to sushi place.

Just moved back to the area and we wanted sushi! Fuji was the first option that popped up and all the reviews we read were true! Incredibly fast service, sushi was insanely delicious and held together nicely! From a presentation standpoint the packaging was even a nice touch! Very glad we tried this place and will absolutely be making this our go to sushi spot in the area! Staff is friendly and wants to get to know their customers! Great experience all around!

It's hard to find a resturant that puts such care into providing quality food. Fuji sushi get it right ever single time. I love getting a bento box and a lobster roll. Everything always tastes incredibly fresh and is well prepared.
