The lady who takes order is not welcoming, seemed bothered. She can improve her customer service. I won’t go back for that reason.

This used to be my favorite place growing up for Chinese. I’ve recently come back to the midlothian area on a break from college and have gotten hunan wok twice since being home and both times left me disappointed and I will not be returning. The service is quick and I remember the food being really good, but the first time I ordered, I got the lunch special beef lo mein and ended up throwing 75% away because it tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and was cooked in rancid oil. I thought it was just an off day for them, so I gave them a second try. The next time was a month and a half later, I got sesame chicken combo plate that came with rice and an egg roll and dumplings. The chicken was lacking flavor and the breading so thick and soggy that it was just not enjoyable to eat. The same goes for the dumplings. There was like a 1/4 cup water in the bottom of the takeout dish and the dumpling wrappers themselves were so waterlogged they were falling apart. Overall, the whole meal lacked flavor. I’m sad because this place used to be my go to for Chinese and was very good but they’ve def fallen off

Dry and bland, take out only (no dine-in, and nowhere nearby to eat)

I had the shrimp egg foo yong, and personally I thought it was very good. It has the brown sauce rather than the actual gravy. I’m not sure if they give you a choice but I was fine with it. It tasted fresh.

Disgusting! I ordered shrimp lo mein and brocoli in garlic sauce. The noodles were so overcooked they were inedible and the garlic sauce was broccoli cooked in oily clearish something. It was very bland and tasted nothing like garlic sauce. What happened!? I haven't been here in a while but the food used to be decent. What a waste of my time and money because its all going in the trash.

The food was very dissatisfying.. I ordered shrimp egg foo young and I was given brown sauce instead of gravy. That 4.1 rating on GOOGLE is a LIE. The food is not good at all

Not only is there food delicious, but I love that it’s a family run business. They always are so consistent!
I got carry out Crispy Honey Chicken and a vegetarian spring roll. They were both terrible. The Crispy Honey Chicken tasted like wet cardboard and was tough as leather. The vegetables in the spring roll were uncooked even though the outside was crispy.
This is a hidden gem but worth the search. Their extensive menu has traditional and unique dishes. The meals are delicious & generous. The decor is nice, but there aren’t a lot of tables. Ample parking.
