My family and I visited NAPA Kitchen & Wine in Midlothian the night before Thanksgiving, and it ended up being one of the warmest, most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. We had called a bit last-minute because our plans that evening were uncertain, and despite it being a busy night, the staff treated us with an incredible level of kindness and understanding. They didn’t just “fit us in” — they made us feel genuinely welcome.
When we arrived earlier than expected, they already had a table prepared, greeting us with the kind of hospitality that feels rare these days. Every interaction felt sincere, and the service was thoughtful in a way that really touched us.
The food was truly fantastic. I ordered the steak, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My wife ordered the gnocchi, and when the kitchen realized the initial preparation wasn’t fully vegetarian, they immediately corrected it with zero hesitation. They handled it swiftly and graciously, and she ended up with a dish that she absolutely loved. Even our daughter’s kids’ cheese pizza was over-the-top delicious — easily the most boujee kids’ pizza she’s ever had.
What stood out the most, though, was the heart behind the service. The team at NAPA Kitchen & Wine didn’t just give us a great meal; they gave us a night that felt cared for, appreciated, and genuinely special. It meant more to us than they probably realize.
We’ll be back again and again. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.

I would not recommend this restaurant. My party of two arrived at 4PM on a Tuesday. Despite ample indoor seating, we were placed outside in windy weather and cool temperature. I observed an elderly gentleman with a very obvious limp seated at a high top table. It was clear by his facial expressions that he was annoyed and perplexed at why he was given a high top table. The food was mediocre. Our server was pleasant. Drinks were watered down. First and last visit.

I’ve Never posted about anything about a restaurant but I’m I wish I could post about the food because it looks really good but I had reservations for Sunday November 23rd I made reservations online through their website on Thursday morning my kids were so excited to go but Sunday afternoon a few hours before our reservation someone called me to inform me that they couldn’t honor our reservations because they closed at 9pm and our reservations were for 8:45 I asked them why no one called me Before Sunday so I could make other plans and the person I spoke to said Well, who did you speak to on the phone? I told her no one I made my reservations Through your website. I just have to say this place must have really bad management or someone drop the ball for someone to make reservations on Thursday and not to be informed until Sunday afternoon a few hours before your reservation to let you know they couldn’t do it Is ridiculous

I don't get the hype. We've been to Napa once before for happy hour / bar food and it was decent so we were excited to return for a meal with friends and enjoy the festive decor but everything except our server was underwhelming and left us disappointed. The decorations are mostly tacky. Also, you look up and it's festive and shiny, you look down and the floor is filthy - you have to be careful walking around as you can easily slip on napkins and food and spilled drinks on the floor everywhere. Our table was wobbly - it already had 2 napkins stuffed underneath it but instead of seating us elsewhere, the staff put a menu board under to keep it somewhat stable. The food was bland. We had the chicken marsala with a partridge size chicken leg, a burger claiming to be wagyu (doubtful), sushi (average) and the cauliflower steak, which was supposed to be grilled and served with seasonal roasted veggies but everything was boiled and the side vegetables weren't even seasonal but more cauliflower, broccoli and carrot. We had the cheesecake for dessert and the pineapple creme brulee. The cheesecake was nice but the creme brulee was served with a long hair, which was then replaced, but it failed to impress. It was cold, lumpy and tasted like the fridge (they probably keep it in the fridge uncovered). The drinks were small and watered down, served in festive cups but that's about the nicest thing about them. I appreciate they're busy but the drinks took super long and came out after our entrees were served. Our server (Michael or Mike?) was very nice and that was the only positive experience about our dinner. Oh and we were charged for the hairy creme brulee (most restaurants would've taken it off the check). We won't be returning.

The atmosphere and service were great. The only feedback I have is to pay close attention to the details of the special orders. I asked for no balsamic glaze on my margarita pizza and it came drizzled with glaze. Had to wait for another pizza. I asked for a lime in my blackberry cucumber spritzer, but no lime. It came with a cucumber garnish. Not a big deal, but some requests are a big deal when it comes to allergies.

We wanted to celebrate the birthday of twins in our family and decided Napa was the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. We are never disappointed with the food and service at Napa Kitchen. Kathleen was excellent and took the time to explain the specials as well as other food items. We could not be happier with the entire experience and always continue to go back time and again. My Chicken Caprese was excellent and my husband enjoyed the divine Crab encrusted Flounder … excellent over mashed garlic whipped potatoes !!! Yummy! We will be back Napa … our son has the delicious Zinfandel and salmon which he loved….keep on rocking it … also the holiday decor is absolutely gorgeous 💜

Very disappointed with our experience yesterday evening at this restaurant. Reserved a table 11/4 for my birthday at 7:00 PM. We were promptly seated at 7, and sat for 25 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged by our server or any server before deciding to leave and take our business elsewhere. Very sad, I was excited to try NAPA out for the first time :(

Had dinner at NAPA last night and it was a good time. I’d been wanting to check them out for a while, and I'm glad I did.
Service:
Our server, Adrena J, was amazing. Kind, attentive, good sense of humor, and spot-on with everything from answering questions to getting the orders right.
Food:
We ordered sushi and lettuce wraps from the happy hour menu, a couple of glasses of wine, and the blackberry sangria. For dessert, we had the pineapple crème brûlée and mochi donuts. Everything was excellent, and the prices seemed reasonable for what we got.
Atmosphere:
This was the only drawback. The seating is too close together, and the music was too loud. I felt hoarse from trying to have a conversation, which isn’t ideal when visiting with friends for dinner. Because of that, while I’d definitely return, I probably wouldn’t choose it as a place to meet up with others. You have to raise your voice to be heard, and with tables so close, you end up competing with your neighbors’ conversations too. I deducted one star for this.

Lovely atmosphere. Exceptional service. Delicious food. Went on a day off - one where I was treating myself as well as I could. By myself, I was seated immediately. Ordered she crab soup - lots of crab meat. A lobster roll - delicious, fresh, good amount of meat. A glass of wine. French fries came with - but not my thing on that day. So got elote'- grilled corn on the cob with spices. Just delicious. A little pricey - just under $60. But worth every cent. Go.

Last night we had my wife's birthday dinner there with the extended family and NAPA did not disappoint (and it never does). The food, the service, and the atmosphere are top notch, and the cost is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. Highly recommend them over any other option in Westchester Commons and the Midlothian area.

Went for the first time during Happy Hour. The food, service, and ambiance were all stellar. This is our new, post-work go-to date spot! I highly recommend the Sangria, Sensei roll, and chocolate overload cake!
