My wife and I have been long time customers of New Peking, using almost exclusively delivery. Over the past year we have both noticed a decline in the quality, taste and portions. Specifically, the amount of protein -- pork in Twice Cooked Pork (my wife's go to choice) and most proteins --shrimp, scallops, beef-- in the Happy Family (my go choice). It also seems that the recipe has changed, not for the better, in the Happy Family since the change in ownership/management....

This was second time we ordered here and most of what we’ve gotten has been good. But we ordered chicken chow mein this time. And we did not get that, which should be a fried noodle dish. Instead we got some kind of cabbage and onion dish - maybe chop suey? We thought they sent the wrong dish, but when I called they said that is what their chow mein is. The food is hit or miss. We had pan fried noodles with vegetables, the sauce and veggies were delicious but the noodles were stale and tasted terrible. The kung pao chicken was good. Little things like noodles and duck sauce were forgettable.
