We had a fairly small anniversary party by most catering standards. On a busy Saturday at the beginning of wedding season, we were treated like the only gig they had! The service was amazing, the food was outstanding, our guests had nothing but great things to say, including the teenagers! The custom pizza peal is beautiful! There were options for my gluten free and vegan guests. Joe answered any questions I had ahead of time promptly and completely. The experience could not have been better! This might be some of the best pizza I've eaten since moving to Richmond. The crust and dough is another level. I would just eat it plain or maybe just with a little olive oil. My partner never eats his crust and I was hoping that would be the case today so I could, the toppings were fresh incredible and yummy. This place is in the middle of nowhere in a gasoline station. My biggest complaint besides location was I asked for a glass of water and they only sold bottled water for two bucks but the pizza was so yummy. Maybe it's good that it's so far away so I can't get it all the time, it is worth the drive. The inside is very small with only a couple tables and a bar. There is no beer. It would taste so good with a good beer. but the pizza was so good.

Great place to pick up pizza to go. Have never been to the truck but picked up from the brick & mortar attached to a gas station. Super friendly and delicious wood fire pizza. Small place so unless you are eating solo or with one other person plan to take it to go.

Had their pizza from the food truck at 2 separate events, Science Museum event & Hardywood West Creek on Easter, and both times the pizza was stellar.Crust texture and flavor is amazing in addition to tasty flavors like buffalo chicken and the Hawaiian. Wish they had a store in downtown, I would go more often!Lines were long but oh so worth the wait.

We tried it for the first time. We got a small pepperoni pizza that had a lot of pepperoni on it and little cheese very greasy. We weren't impressed as we thought we'd be. Might try it again. Overall everything else was good.

Super easy ordering via their tablet and the food came in great time! The “Northside” is an incredible pizza, amazing combo of ingredients, super tasty, and the wood fired taste is amazing.

I worked at RCWF. I don't anymore. It's legit. I genuinely did not like most pizza when I joined the crew, but this pizza is different. It blows everything else out of the water.Owner Joe is awesome and does not cut corners when it comes to quality. He is an amazing cook in general and always blew my mind with the apps and specials he'd come up with. Manager Caroline is the best and deserves the world. Shout out to Dustin and Dani. At the recommendation of many friends we tried River City Wood Fired Pizza in Powhatan for the first time tonight (Super Bowl Sunday) and it was great! I ordered the “Scott’s Edition” bbq chicken pizza and it was excellent. (I ate the entire thing, something I never do so that says a lot!) It could have used more toppings & chicken but the taste was great. My husband had the Roy-al which is pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and he really enjoyed it but did say it was a little spicy for him so he would opt for something else next time. (For reference, he doesn’t handle any amount of spice well so I would not let that deter you unless you are “weak” in that sense.) The pizza was easy to order online and easy to pick up at the store. The pizza is a little pricier given the size (we got a 10 inch and 14 inch) but given the taste I imagine the ingredients are better quality and command a premium. We would definitely order again.
