I’ve been coming here for years and today was odd. Ever since the new digital screens, I feel like they changed ingredients, too. The queso had large chunks of cracked pepper which was strange and didn’t taste great. No limes with the tacos. And the overall taste felt off for the rusty taco (al pastor now) and the street corn. I think my main concern is the queso 😂 please don’t change the recipe! What is happening?!

The new menu is iffy, I don’t understand why they would take away the regular good ole nacho! And the price to the portion doesn’t match but that’s a higher up issue. The girl upfront was so friendly and she helped recommend good stuff even while she was trying to navigate the new menu she was very apologetic and appreciative of our patience. It came out in a decently time manner and was delicious!

We LOVED Rusty Taco of Short Pump.
Tonight food was cold, street corn was terrible, whoever is the cook doesn’t know how to fix street corn, it had a tater tot on top🤦♀️ No cheese no mayo no seasoning
Margarita tasted like you were drinking rubbing alcohol and the cashier order taker WAS RUDE!!!! She doesn’t give a crap about that place, when we said the drinks were terrible she said “have a good night”

Best food in town!!! tacos are amazing, staff is no nice and fun to talk to about litterally anything, the atmosphere is amazing too its just something about rusty taco , the big windows the paintings and the music.

First of all, I waited 40 minutes for a plate of nachos. I have never waited so long for such disappointing fare. Over sauced and too salty for nearly 20 dollars, my money would be better spent at Chipotle. The restaurant itself is clinically dry and boring. There is no atmosphere to speak of.

As a native Texan who loves frequenting Rusty Taco back home, this location was pretty disappointing. All of our food was served cold and some of our favorite items were not on the menu.
