I just got a vegan cheese vegan pepperoni bbq sauce pizza and it’s straight up bussin. Whoever made this on June 1st 2025 at 7:38pm thank you 🙏🏻
It was very lovely
My family and I have eaten at Sergio’s for years, as our first stop Italian restaurant, which is why I was so disappointed tonight when my spaghetti had a big black hair in it and my tiramisu was frozen solid! 🤢It gave me the ick and made me sad because we have always loved their food. Will try again eventually and hope for greater attention to detail from them…
Great food! The chicken Parm is especially good. Ate in the bar area, since there was a 45 minute wait for a table in the main restaurant area. (Were there a little after 6 PM). The lone bartender was working very hard to keep up with with all the entire restaurant drink orders while serving food and drink to the 30 or so bar patrons. She never stopped moving!
Excellent pizza, the mussels appetizer is under rated and well worth it if you enjoy mussels. The pizza is good with any of the square pizza having that crispy buttery crust. The location is pretty hidden however those in the Brandermill area this should be the place to go for pizza. It's great for sit down or take out.
Staff are rude, food is just okay, and portions are subjective. Should be accommodating for certain things. If you penny pinch over things as small as a cup of sauce, it will just lead to no tips and low customer retention.
Love the food . I order from DoorDash mostly . The only problem is they constantly put the wrong salad Dressing with your to go order . I even order extra and they don’t send it . Kinda ruins the salad . I guess I will just continue to get refunds on the entire salad until the staff can actually put the correct salad dressing in the box .
Being a NYC transplant and ridiculous pizza snob, Sergio’s gets this guy’s approval! My wife & kids Love it, the staff is super nice and the place always seems like a party! One Day we’ll dine in on a Friday or Saturday night. The XL pizza will not fit in your Corolla! You may have to fold the seats down LOL! This is a good solid pizza 7.8 out of 10.
Second time here and was not disappointed! Tried the Grandma style 🍕 it was delicious! So filling have leftovers for next day or so!
Best vegan option pizza you can get in the Richmond area! Keep in mind that the extra large pie is GIANT! You can barely get it through the doorway!

This might be the only actual pizza shop in the area. What I mean by that is that Sergio’s actually makes pizza from scratch and it’s enjoyable.
We got the grandma style pizza and the New Orleans calzone which tasted great.
I will definitely order from here again.

So I’m going to give them a try again and try something different. I ordered the cheesecake and fries. It tasted really good but one whole half of my sandwich was missing most of the steak. I thought maybe it had fallen out of the bread but it just wasn’t in there. There was just a little bit at the top as you can see. The other half of my sub was much better. Again, still very good, you can tell they use quality ingredients but I was a little shocked by that. Hopefully, I will have a better experience next time.
I searched high and low for a good Detroit Style Pizza and I found it. Really good price as well. Crust was superb.

It is just OK. Pizzas are good, pasta not that good. Service is OK. Nothing really stands out.

The service was excellent. I will also say the staff went above and beyond. I was caught in an unfortunate situation where our server at the time misunderstood our order and the tab came at a shock.
The managers went out of their way, the staff was also understanding except for one individual who I assumed was a bartender. The owner was called to try to reconcile our situation. However it seemed that their perception was quite frugal, though I chop it up to misunderstanding.
I would totally recommend the spot because you can tell the staff cares. I would be careful however on how you order things because it's obvious that the owner is not as understanding as those that are keeping a great establishment going.
