My husband and I were recommended this place several times and we finally made our way over there this week, and I’m SO glad we did. We got the Detroit Style pizza and it was fantastic. It had the perfect amount of cheese (a lot!), and the sauce was delicious. We split a cannoli for dessert and immediately regretted not getting one for each of us because it was so good! The best cannoli I’ve had in years! The staff is friendly, and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food. Will definitely be returning!

I’m sorry that I have to say this. It’s disappointing that I won’t be going back to Sergio’s. The food is fantastic, but in the US, gratuity is earned not given. If you’re going to add 20% gratuity to dine in orders, then I wi go elsewhere. That policy needs to go.

TERRIBLE!!!
So much hype on Instagram and social media, but absolutely not worth it. The pizza was super chewy and dry, the wings came out cold and lacked flavor, and the mozzarella sticks were overly oily. On top of that, the prices are way too high for the poor quality. Save your money — this place is all hype, no substance

Pizza great, but don't get a dinner- frozen chicken patties. Every Nonna is spinning in their graves.

One of our go to Pizza spots on the Southside. Always packed, absolutely banging pizza, pasta and apps.

They add an automatic 20% gratuity on parties of 5 or more, which is a shame, as it removes the incentive for amazing service. On a recent visit you could tell service had gone downhill a bit. Its also a tad overpriced for some of their main pasta dishes.

This is perfect for a date night or group of 4, any more and I would head to Anna's to avoid the *gratuitous* gratuity. Can't give it 5 stars for that one reason.

Best Italian in the area in my opinion. I especially love the bruschetta appetizer. Highly recommend for a casual Italian dinner with great craft beer options.

The pizza is delicious. All the food looked and smelled great. The oreo coffee milkshake is a must have. I'll try other foods from the menu next time.

After seeing a video on social media, I knew I had to come try this place out! I did a pick up order via their website on a Friday night. I did arrive at the restaurant a little bit before my pick up time and it was pretty busy. However, the restaurant looks spacious and I did see that they have a whole bar as well as desserts near the pick up window. While waiting for my food, I was able to sit down at the bench that they use for awaiting parties (def good for groups).

We ordered the Renzo special pizza, mozzarella logs, and spinach & artichoke dip. Everything was perfectly hot once I arrived home. The pizza was amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pizza with vodka sauce and I love vodka sauce pasta. I am a sausage girl … it’s my favorite pizza topping and when I tell you, the sausage alone has me ready to go back there to try something else. Also, my fiancé and I shared this pizza and we still had seconds the next day and the pizza reheated very well in the oven .The mozzarella logs were huge and very tasty. And I did love that the Spanish artichoke dip was topped with bacon. I don’t think I’d ever had that combination, but it made for a good one. I will say the dip is served with a bread so if you’re worried about eating a lot of bread, then maybe opt for another appetizer, but we had chips at home and it was perfect. All in all ease of ordering, Customer Service, value, and for sure food will have me visiting Sergio’s again!

Some items are great, some are not. Extremely salty sauce and heavy, rich food. I got the Detroit pepperoni. The crust is excellent, but the toppings were unevenly cooked, and the sauce is very salty. This is one of those places where you need to be careful what you get: the quality of ingredients varies, and clearly, not everything is made in-house.

This was my families last time ever coming to this restaurant. It should be up to me how much i tip someone not forced to tip an additional 20% on my bill over $50.00. Then have the gall to ask for more money.

Used to love this restaurant, but I hate the 20% mandatory gratuity added to checks that total $50 or more. I normally tip 20% anyways. But some servers just don’t deserve that amount, like last visit, only interaction we had was ordering, kitchen staff were the ones coming out and bringing drink refills and food, it wasn’t even busy that night. I tip because I want to and should not be forced to. The amount should be up to me. Furthermore when I went to pay the bill I was directed to an option of leaving more of a tip. Even though I’ve always liked this restaurant, an inattentive server always getting paid and my experience tanked as a result. Will never come back as long as that is in place.
