I enjoyed celebrating my milestone birthday this week at Tea with Kip. From entrance to exit this experience was cozy, cordial and yummy !! This is my fourth time participating with Kip's Southern style hospitality , every time including Mother's Day, has been memorable and I will return with my family and friends soon. This a treasure! I have never been greeted so well into this very unique awesome tea house. I do drink tea everyday as my mother was Irish and grand mother was Ukrainian. I had all kinds of tea from Earl Grey to the Ukrainian style of Chai my Bapsya made for me and brother while she was teaching us to read and write Ukrainian. It was a challenge for all of us, but I tripped across this awesome tea house with the best soups I have ever had! Tomato basil, cold peach soup,wow! It was almost like a smoothie, and a favorite oldie that blows away Cambells Cream of Mushroom Soup, my childhood staple. It's an amazing experience, a top favorite restaurant of this year by far. Check it out. THERE ARE 2 BUSINESSES UTILIZING THE SAME RETAIL SPACE. I met both fun loving entrepreneurs that compliment each other perfectly. I will be coming back soon and often. The formal English Tea Party side lady, also offer to custom make fresh, and healthy dog food for my Sneaky Pete whom I rescued in Church Hill as SICKLY ENGLISH POINTER. He is so picky about food. He doesn't eat dry dog food. Starves for 2 days before I break down and feed him Nudges and Freshpet, a healthier option. He doesn't even like the very healthy, and expensive Chuck Norris dry dog food. He has grown to like the Beef Hearts treats. So, I am going back tomorrow to buy my spoiled dog custom made healthy food for him. He is trained in 3 languages and deserves it! He does have a Nudge problem though. This is the most adorable tea house I've ever experienced! The tea was delicious and kept flowing throughout my time there, and Kip did a lovely job telling us all about the teas. The food was fresh and wonderful, especially the cucumber sandwiches. They were exquisite! The staff was attentive and very sweet. And the decorations were so cute! I'll definitely be returning here!

Kip and her ladies are the most incredible people. We are a military family stationed here in Virginia, and while our time here was short, we will always remember the amazing experience we had here at Tea with Kip. The teas and food were delicious, and the tea shop itself is a feast for the eyes. Absolutely stunning decor and cute little gift shop area.
You can feel the love and welcoming spirit from everyone working there. And as always, Kip praises our Lord in everything she does. I made sure to make a stop in her prayer closet and make a few prayers myself 🕊️

First time having tea here to catch up with a friend and it was wonderful! Kip, the owner was very friendly and inviting. Her staff was also great and service was attentive and our waters and tea were always full and steaming hot. We loved the raspberry tea with sugar cubes. The lemon chicken orzo as well as the tiered finger foods were all delicious. Also loved that tea time started out with a prayer and the tea room also has a very nice prayer room you can enjoy. Tea is $35/person and you do need to book ahead of time as well as put down a deposit. Overall, I would come back to celebrate a special occasion. Would recommend.
