Our waitress Savannah was terrific, attentive and great service. She has a great personality and did not rush us and served in a timely manner. Only complaint was my friend John was charged $31 twice for two Margaritas. Outrageous!
we have been customers for over 30 years and love this restaurant but last evenings meal was horrible. Not sure what has happened but the food overall was terrible. There were 4 of us . We started off with a bread basket and clam chowder which was good. Our friends got a margarita pizza and salad. They each took about 2 bites and decided not to finish it. My husband ordered the fish and chips - it was heavily battered and the fish inside was mush with no flavor. I had the seared scallops which I was eagerly waiting for. There was no flavor no seasoning and only 4 scallops- for the price of $36 I would have thought there would have been at least 6 scallops and definitely a bit of seasoning-Usually scallops don't need much as the sweetness of the fish is there - there was nothing . We finished our meal with coffee and had to ask about the birthday dessert-our server asked about us celebrating anything and we told him yes.... we even noted it on our reservation. Sadly we would not recommend this place for a meal any longer - this used to be one of our favorite places to go to- but the quality and the cost are not there any longer.
Best view in town. Lovely clientele. Friendly servers and good food. We'vare e been many times.
The location and view were great, and our server was good. But the food was not that great, and the hostess was very cold and unwelcoming
Fried oysters were great. Delicious bread pudding. My friend had shrimp tacos- neither of us liked the old bay chips. Ambience was great! We plan to come again!
Rather dissapointing for all of us. We'd been coming to the Boathouse, Sunday Park location for many years for a birthday celebration and in the past all was very goood. Last evening, not so much. My friend kept getting Gin and Tonics with flat tonic, the drinks took a little while to get to us. I'd ordered a Filet, medium rare and it was delivered medium well, at best. I did ask for another steak and it was delivered as asked the second time. While the restaurant was not particularly crowded, service just wasn't up to par. We may have to find elsewhere for our celebrations.
Of course, the view is always a treat. Service was very prompt and courteous. Food was my best meal there yer.
They nice to hang out with family and friends, love the outside seating. Thanks to Guliana!!
We ordered a martini on the rocks with a twist. It arrived with neither. We told this to the waitress. She took it back to the bartender and brought it back in a martini glass full of crushed ice, and the "twist" was a yellow thing the size and thickness of a postage stamp floating among the ice, which was rapidly melting. We tried to explain to the server what "twist" and "on the rocks" meant, but we apparently didn't convince her OR the bartender somehow. Surprising and inexcusable. Also, the 20-something server addressed our party members as "girl", "sweetie", "boo" (?) and other such appellations. Yes, we are old and we're old-fashioned; call me a grouchy old man, but we prefer not to be addressed that way by strangers. Otherwise she was friendly and pleasant. The food was okay but way over-priced. If it were priced at half-or maybe two-thirds it would have been more acceptable. The "corn ribs" were weird--4 finger-sized pieces of flavored corn-on-the-cob totaling about half of a small ear as a $24 entree--ridiculous. The chocolate cake dessert was stale and dry. If you charge premium prices, I feel you should serve premium food, and this was not our experience. There is no reason for us to return. I did not intend to write a review, but since you requested one, I complied.
A wonderful experience for our 2 tables. We had some homecoming kids at one table and parents at another. The management was attentive and genuinely wanted to make it memorable. The servers were great. Well done!!

The food was very good and the server was also. They have nice outdoor seating if weather allows. I asked about Happy Hour drinks and was told you can't get Happy Hour Drinks unless you are physically seated at the bar. That was a bit of a turn off particularly since the bar was about 15 feet from our table.
For us the selling point and reason to come (not too often) is clearly not the service or food but the location. Service is fine, kitchen is generally slow and food is just ok but I would not say outstanding in any way, you obviously pay hefty for the lake view which at sunset on a sunny day is quite lovely.
The server, Amira, was excellent the food was not good. Amira tried to make things right. The clam chowder made us sick and the omelettes were overcooked so hard and brown. Not a good experience.
Overall good experience. Fries were cold. Waitress was attentive. Love the live music. We always like the atmosphere at this location.
The reservation process was so easy and accurate. The experience at Sunday park was very enjoyable
