The Boathouse at Sunday Park

I was excited to go to the Boathouse and have a good dinner. It was a disappointment.
The scallops were spoiled and tasted and smelled of ammonia. The replacement was not good either. The crab cakes were very good. I expected a better experience. Once I ate spoiled food it took away from the whole dinning experience. Can’t say I will go there again.

We had such a great experience, and a huge part of that was our server, Brenda. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and checked in at all the right times without ever feeling overbearing. Her energy and professionalism truly elevated our entire dining experience. If you’re dining here, ask for Brenda — she’s amazing and made our visit unforgettable!

Breakfast with Santa at the Boathouse is our favorite Christmas event every year! Their Santa Clause is absolutely amazing! He takes his time with each table and is so sweet with the kids. Ambrielle is the best waitress ever, and was so patient with us! We will be requesting her from now on! My only note would be to add waffles to the brunch menu for the kids, that would make this the perfect experience!

We have been long-term patrons of this branch of the Boathouse. What keeps us coming back is the excellent service we receive from Brenda, Anya, and Chris! Their friendly interaction and attention to detail makes our experiences special every visit! Happy hour is exceptionally happy when Chris, Brenda, or Anya are manning the bar!!! I visited for our college singing group reunion and must say, it's a nice find on the water. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I opted for the crab dip and a salad as my lunch. Both items were very enjoyable, especially the salad.

Our server, Anja, was fabulous! If it weren’t for her, this experience would have been a one star. Very disappointed since we have been coming here for years. Our appetizers were great, after that things went down hill, unfortunately. I ordered the filet.. for a $44 steak and especially because it was supposed to be a filet mignon.. I should have been able to cut it with my fork. I could barely cut it with my steak knife. It was overcooked and definitely did not resemble any filet I’ve ever had. This is no reflection on Anja, she reduced the price of the steak without us having to ask, which I never would have. Maybe next visit we order appetizers only?

This was our first time and we had an awesome experience, Austin has great customer service skills; he's definitely a people person. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We can't wait to return! Austin rocks!
