I have been watching this place forever on tiktok. And really wanted to try a local owned place and not some big chain place. I came here not really knowing much but what I have seen on line I tell you what this is the place to come on out and get your belly full
There were a group of us seven ladies from out-of-town who had visited the Brown House Candle Shop a few doors down (excellent by the way!), and thought we would patronize another black-owned establishment. I must admit the food was delicious, the server was friendly but not on point with our orders. We requested to speak to the owner. He came to the table and we shared our concerns with him. JMU alum owned. Curtis and staff are very friendly and sociable. The food and drinks are delicious and made promptly with care. The boozy soft serve ice cream is banging!! Taste like a creamsicle. 😋 Game nights during the week. Clean restrooms. Spacious and a nice, quaint venue to visit. I will return. 💜💛
