Visited here recently and I have to say, it has improved significantly since I last visited back in June. The food was fresh and delicious. The service from the cashier's helpful suggestions to the food runner dropping off the food with a smile was refreshing. The manager Coleandra came and checked on us during our visit and we took the opportunity to order some churros to go, at her suggestion.
I will definitely be coming back! Keep up the great work! I'm so glad Torchy's has come to Virginia ? The last one I went to was in Houston and they definitely bring the flavors from Texas!

Always a good experience. Place is always clean and tidy, service is always great, and food is (usually) out fast and always delicious. The only negative I could think is that some items are a bit pricey, but the food is very high quality and delicious, so I don't mind paying the slightly higher premium for the good eats and service.

Waitress named Nikki ruined this place for us.
We like the food here, but our visit today was terrible. After I ordered, I noticed there was an automatic 22% tip added to our total. I tip regularly, but I don’t think I would tip that high of a percentage to have somebody bring our food to get that we ordered at the counter. To make things worse, we took our table tracker and put it in the middle of the table on the mat that said, “Place Tracker Here”. Our server, Nikki, came to our table frustrated, and the first words out of her mouth were, “Our servers can’t find you if you put the tracker in the middle of the tray on the metal floor disc”. She then moved it off the metal disc and told us we needed to put it within the circle, but not in the very center. She made sure to point to the areas in the mat that we could and couldn’t place the tracker.
There are no instructions other than “Place tracker here”, and I’m being lectured by our server Nikki, whom I involuntary gave a 22% tip to. When I told her about the tip and her lecturing me about not knowing how their table tracking system worked, she sort of apologized by saying she was sorry I felt that way. She didn’t say she was sorry for her actions, only that it was unfortunate I felt a certain way. She then argued with me about her actions and told me she was very polite and she did nothing wrong.
This was a horrible experience. We have been here many times, and I wanted you to know one really bad employee caused you to lose us as future customers.
I don’t know if her attitude is a reflection of higher management, but it’s a horrible way to treat customers.

But what truly made my visit memorable was the outstanding customer service from Shanita. She greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and instantly made me feel at home. Her knowledge of the menu was top-tier! She patiently walked me through all the options and gave thoughtful recommendations based on my preferences. Thanks to her guidance, I ended up trying two incredible tacos: the Shrimp Baja Taco and the Trashy Taco—both of which were delicious!
The Shrimp Baja Taco was hands down my favorite—the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the flavors were fresh and bold. The Trashy Taco, with its indulgent queso on top, was just as good and an absolute must-try for anyone who loves a bit of Tex-Mex decadence.
