Great place to connect with friends, celebrate or have a great meal
SLOW service.
Very loud and not good music
Entree came before appetizers
Sushi, fishy.. not great
Have to beg for attention…
Fantastic service and food as always. Best Asian Fusion in the Richmond metro area!
The place is nice but the food and the service was not great unfortunately.
My partner and I dined at Wild Ginger on a beautiful, warm evening last week. We sat on the patio, which made for such a lovely dining experience. I had the Hawker Chicken and it was one of the best things I’ve had at a restaurant. The gyoza was aLeo great! Our waitress was wonderful and attentive to our needs. Well worth the money and we will be back!
First timers.
3 cousins who have not been together in over 30 years.
We chose the right place. The Hawker Chicken, Indian Curry Soup pot and 2 sushi rolls: The Extra Ordinary Roll and Joker roll.
Excellent fare! Our waitress, Virginia, was attentive, professional and tolerated my lame jokes with genuine grace.
Thank you all for a special evening.
When we arrived, I had high hopes. My friend actually chose this place after looking over their menu. So, we were greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the gyoza, and my friend decided to order their wings and their salmon crackers. The drinks were good, but the food... The gyoza and wings came out first. The gyoza could have been browned more, as the dumpling was a little chewy. My friend said the wings tasted old and then we both wondered how the wings could be ready before raw tuna. The wings were fair because they weren't fresh, but we didn't want to make a big deal about it. The salmon arrived with no seasoning, so we sent it back. With a 0/3 on appetizers, we decided to cut our losses and have dinner elsewhere. I love good service, but the food was sub par. I'll never go back for food but maybe a drink after work. For the amount of money they charge, there is no excuse for poorly executed dishes.
First time having dinner here as a party of 4, it started out a little rocky… didn’t have a reservation (that’s our fault) was seated at the bar a bit squished, eventually Jenny was able to get us a table and was so accommodating!! She was so kind and really wanted us to have a great experience. Bartenders were wonderful and drinks were fabulous. Once we were moved to our table, Cassidy was a delight, very knowledgeable and had just the right amount of attentiveness. Her suggestions were incredible, we loved everything especially the sushi!!! She gave us desserts on the house which was not expected & we appreciated greatly. Overall pricing was great considering what we got and how many of us there were. They made up for the beginning part of the evening tenfold. We will be back for sure!!
We tried Wild Ginger for a work group dinner, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! It was a little out of my comfort zone, but everything was fresh, flavorful, and really delicious. The staff member helping our group was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and what things we should try. The atmosphere made for a great experience as well since we were in a back private room. Definitely glad we gave it a try! We will definitely be back!
Loved our dinner. Our server was delightful--she was on break from college and was only working one night. super sweet and attentive. The glass of wine I ordered was too oxidized and not only did she bring me a glass from a new bottle but they waived the cost of that wine which was above and beyond. Lastly, their reservation system kept messing up our reservation--emailing confirmations then cancellations repeatedly. The manager was so sweet and comped us delicious desserts on top of everything. Had a great meal, great experience, terrific customer service. We will certainly return soon.

The best restaurant outside of Richmond City Limits.
Jim, Sydney, Jaden and the entire time treat everyone like family and the food is always consistently delicious.
Okay Sushi. Kinda lukewarm.. but the power did turn off and back on which could be the issue. Waiting staff handled it like a pro and they were amazing!
Good was delicious and waitress was great!
On February 2, my bf made reservations for dinner. We arrived on time, and we were seated. We were taken to a 2 top table and I asked for a booth. The 2 top booth was reserved, I asked if we could be seated a larger booth (it sat 4) we were told it was reserved. He walked away and then came back and told us the table where they seated us, they needed it to push together to make a 5 top.
We were not offered another table instead we left.
We were the only blacks in the restaurant so I am going to let all my black friends know, not to eat here because they do not want our money even though it is green just like there’s.
I was there for Happy Hour and enjoyed various appetizers. They were all delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive
