Nice experience from start to finish. The host and waitstaff were friendly and helpful. Food arrived promptly, looking wonderful and tasting even better! We had calamari, spicy shrimp noodles, and Thai chicken wrap.

So. There was a strange odor throughout the restaurant, which may have been the carpet- I'm not sure. It was very off-putting.
Great wine selection.
The staff were all great and attentive.
The food was overall ok, but nothing extraordinary. I was hoping the Black Russian sushi roll was going to be more flavorful than it was.
The soft shell crab tasted mostly like the fried breading that was used. It was alright.

Wild Ginger in Midlothian is an absolute gem! From the moment l walked in I was greeted and treated with warmth and professionalism by the super friendly staff. They make me feel welcome and appreciated, even when picking up my takeout. Now let’s talk about the food because wow! The chicken pot stickers are out of this world. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a savory, juicy filling that bursts with flavor. You can tell they’re made with care and high-quality ingredients. Then there’s the senang shrimp had a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and creamy with just the right amount of crunch. It’s the kind of dish you think about long after the last bite. And don’t sleep on the sunshine shrimp either. It’s a bright, fresh, and flavorful option that brings a fun twist to classic shrimp dishes. Each bite was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and absolutely addictive. Whether you’re dining in or picking up, Wild Ginger delivers not just amazing food but also top notch customer service. It’s no wonder this spot has become one of my go-to favorites in Midlothian!

Great place for sushi. Thats pretty much it. The entrees are very bland, way over priced for portion size (3 tiny scallops on a skewer with a grape tomatoe...?No sear and raw in the middle. $30.), and have strange flavor combinations. The calamari appetizer, however, is excellent. The soft shell crab appetizer is ALL breading and grease. In conclusion: Sushi, yes. Thumbs up. Entrees, no. Big thumbs down. Appetizers, hit or miss.

When we made the reservation they asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We were! Our25th wedding anniversary! We saw other diners with decorated birthday plates. Sadly nothing for us. Don’t ask if you’re not going to follow through.

Always a great experience! We tried a few new dishes...Oscar Roll, Singapore Noodles with shrimp, and Tropic Thunder roll. Service is on point and fun extra sauces.

The food at Wild Ginger was delicious. A wide variety of Asian dishes on the menu. I had the Mongolian Beef, which I would absolutely get again. Cocktails were good. We sat outdoors, which was nice enough, but there is not much to see other than a parking lot. So I can't recommend the patio for atmosphere, inside seemed nice.

Fantastic service and food as always. Best Asian Fusion in the Richmond metro area!
The place is nice but the food and the service was not great unfortunately.
My partner and I dined at Wild Ginger on a beautiful, warm evening last week. We sat on the patio, which made for such a lovely dining experience. I had the Hawker Chicken and it was one of the best things I’ve had at a restaurant. The gyoza was aLeo great! Our waitress was wonderful and attentive to our needs. Well worth the money and we will be back!
