My husband picked up food from here. Everything was drenched in grease and the beef and broccoli tasted old. The meat was so tough, we couldn’t even chew it. The egg rolls had a good taste but everytime we took a bite grease would be running down the side. We are so dissatisfied and disappointed. We will never order from here again.

Cold rainy day + good Chinese food= happy belly!
Was missing a side of fried rice, the soup was lukewarm, and the egg roll was cold.
Besides all that the lo mein had a lot of chicken and the orange chick was moist and delicious! Will be back hopefully will have everything I ordered.

We ate family lunch near Christmas time and left a Christmas card there accidentally there was for my mother. When I called they said they didn't see the card which had money in it. Very disappointing to see dishonest person working there.

I'm not sure if the ownership has changed or maybe the chef but the taste of the general tso's chicken is not nearly as good as it has been for over the last 18 years.

This place has gone down in quality so much since the owner lket his angry, mean sister take over the place. I've been eating here for 20 years and the quality just isn't there anymore. When you say anything, the lady that runs the place yells at you. She was literally arguing with my wife when al lshe wanted to do was place an order. So sad. We miss Jimmy.

I’ve edited this review 3 times. OMG this food is beyond amazing. NOT your typical Chinese food experience. I was disappointed at first because a family-sized order is $18 and only feeds one person. Service was fast and friendly. But this is THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I’VE EVER HAD! It was delicious! I ordered a family-sized meal and we’re both still very hungry. If we had known what small portions were served, we’d have planned on spending $60 for a meal for 2 people — I’m definitely going to be back 🤩

I was very disappointed after ordering from Yen Ching. They are not the same as they used to be. I called in for delivery and woman was very rude, they discontinued what was on the menu. I ordered a combination platter which is shrimp, chicken, beef and mixed vegetables. When it came it was not even full and had only 2 shrimp, mostly broccoli. It cost 18.95 plus 5.00 delivery plus I tipped. That one order was $30 and wasn’t even filled up plus only 2 shrimp. In my opinion, that does not deserve a second time. I was definitely not an appreciated customer.

Got delivery on a Friday, called in our order. Everyone was kind and efficient. The orange chicken was our favorite thing, it was sweet, spicy and crispy. Will be ordering from here again!!

I have finally found a Chinese restaurant equal to those I frequented in California!! The staff are very friendly and the food excellent. The restaurant has a soothing atmosphere and is very popular. I have finally found my Chinese restaurant!!! And oh no... another expensive habit because I now go almost every other day because their food is so good! Most meals start at about $14. Some appetizers start at $2.95. I'm hopelessly hooked :)

We found Yen Ching on Google. We wanted some where close to the Hull Street area. I read the reviews and decided to go. One thing about ordering Chinese food is that you are always guaranteed a good amount of food and we usually have left overs. Well that was not the case here. The portions we received was small compared to other Chinese restaurants. I was disappointed with the crab ragoons. Although crab ragoons are made with imitation crab meat, there was no imitation crab meat only cream cheese filling. The General Tso's chicken and the fried rice was good. The portion sizes was smaller than what we are used too.

Prices are on the high side and food is mediocre. Have tried this place a few times and everything tastes the same. Chunk of beef pork or chicken that you honestly can’t tell one from the other covered in brown sauce. I’ll probably get dragged here again but would never eat there by choice.
