The food was absolutely delicious!! I ordered the fried dumplings and beef bulgogi. The person I was with ordered combination fried rice. The dumplings were perfectly fried and came out so hot, when I bit into it, the juice inside burst out and burned my tongue. The beef bulgogi was plentiful, juicy and had lots of flavor. I was full after I ate all of it, plus an extra side of white rice. The fried rice was perfect and needed no additional soy sauce or anything. It was literally perfect as is. I will definitely be back.

I've come here a few times, and it's never bad. The soft tofu soup and banchan are delicious! I just tried their takeout, and the way they package your food is very thoughtful and stayed warm for a long time! Love Yewon. Even if it's a bit pricey, well worth it everytime. Good warm comfort food that's hard to find.

Surprisingly an authentic Korean place in this quiet neighborhood. If you want to experience true Korean cuisine, I highly recommend Yewon. Their Kimchi is the fire, and I’ve bought a couple of pints to go so I can enjoy more at home.

We had such a fantastic dinner here last night. I love that the food is literally still boiling when delivered to the table. The cool, crisp vegetable sides and ferments give your mouth a break. The variety of textures, spice, and flavors make the dining experience much more than just filling your belly. It’s a lovely sensory experience. Portion sizes are very large and made it very easy share with the table. We all said we plan to go again soon to try something new every time (but the tteokbokki will be ordered every time no matter what!)

I DO NOT recommend the restaurant. Be aware of the pricing! Online menu and the price in the restaurant is not up to date. Outdated price of over 23 dollars per dish. Mentioned to the waitress and she yelled at me instead of any rectification. She said it’s my fault that I don’t know the price!!! Been a regular customer before but WILL NOT be going there anymore because of her. I still has to pay the full “not updated “ price and no apology from the waitress. Owner has to come out and take her away from me. Also, never any service was rendered to enjoy the meal every time I been there. I never felt this bad as a customer that I got yelling. Even 1 star is a waste.

Listen this is my favorite place, there was absolutely nothing wrong with anything. I’ve been a regular for a while. But as I was signing my bill today, the lady up front put my sister on blast in front of other customers, with a slight raised voice “No tip?!”. Complete and utterly disrespectful, and unprofessional. I wasn’t about to cause a scene, but with an attitude like that? Doesn’t deserve a tip. I signed my bill and left. Lovely food. Not very friendly front lady.
