My oh my I was transported back to the pre-industrial culinary scene! James, jellies, pies, meats ... nice selection of wines and I got me a diet Coke. The surrounding community was also evocative of 19th century charm, but with paved roads and flush toilets.
Locke is a mixture of greatness, the wine selection is comparable to any I have seen in NYC, London and France. The freshly prepared food is consistent from visit to visit. I know it sounds strange to rave about consistency. I only address this because you have enjoyed something on the menu and want it again Locke deliverers. Imagine ordering for a family dinner and there is something different. If you will permit me to make a constructive suggestion I would like to pay for ordered...
Found this little place on a road trip and they had some of the most unique items and great atmosphere. The fresh foccacia bread and tomatoe basil soup were the best I've ever had!
