We stopped here on a whim as we saw the sign on Rt. 17. The lady and man were friendly and the chicken salad on fresh baked bread and tomato basil soup were excellent. We were hoping for something off the beaten path, memorable and delicious. It was all of that and more.
The kind of store that makes you want to live closer. I’d say it’s more specialty (higher prices) than a “regular” grocery store but the quality is high. For example, right next to the door they has a South African wine from an amazing vineyard I visited… but it’s not a wine I’ve seen carried elsewhere.

Excellent sandwich! We had the smash burgers , 1 order of fries and 2 sodas to drink it was $52 !! Very expensive. We loved the patio area in back. Very pleasant place to meet friends for a leisurely lunch.
