Just ate lunch there with my son. Was not checked on had to go find someone to ask for napkins and to go boxes. We got a sweet tea and only drank half of it. It was $3.19 so I asked for a to go cup and she told me that that would be $0.30. I said are you kidding? She said no. So we had to leave a half full drink that we paid for on the counter as we paid. I mean really? You are going to charge me for a to go cup? No thank you… won’t be back. Food was average.
We spent over $200 on a delivery. No condiments, missing all the egg rolls, no pancakes or plum sauce for the moo shu pork and food was bland and tasteless. The hot and sour soup was decent but we will be looking for another restaurant for the family next time.
I bought two meals, Hunan Chicken and General Tso's for pick up. picked it up and drove 30 minutes home to find one rice in the bag. I called to ask about this and was met by an employee laughing about it. They offered me some egg drop soup for my trouble. Once I was finished driving the extra hour to get the food I ordered, the food was bland with no spice at all. The Hunan chicken was nothing but broccoli with legit 5 pieces of chicken. Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant is known as the best in the area with incredibly friendly staff and unmatched prices. While some dishes like Triple Delight and Hunan Shrimp may lack spice and authenticity, others like shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce and orange chicken are outstanding. The food, however, can be hit or miss with items like wontons and egg rolls lacking in meat and flavor.
