“Best food for the best price?. I got a very filling dinner for only $15.Parking: So on a normal say(not a Friday or Saturday night), there is plenty of parking. However, when the place gets busy, parking is harder to find”

“I tried the Swim Advisory IPA and it was pretty good. I got a growler of it to take home. They only had one person working so the wait time was a bit longer than expected but the man working was handling it like a pro. I will definitely return. There is and massive amount of space and it is very comfortable even with the crowd that was there to see the singer that was performing.”

“We had the best burger ever. The meat quality was country fresh, so were the perfect mushrooms and lettuce. Fresh bun and delicious steak fries. Root beer float was delicious, nicely packed with ice to take home.The wood and lights atmospheres were the “feeling at home”.We don’t eat at Tim’s Restaurant since they served me worm/scallops (the owner said they can’t control that);Calli’Opie Orchard’s location, near us, gave me hope to eat out great food again.”

“Butch catered our wedding back in 2021 at Lake Anne. The food was great, service was amazing and the owner was very accommodating to all of my requests. I just referred him out to some friends that are getting married!”

“A small town restaurant, nothing fancy, but it's friendly, good food and close to the bakery! PLUS they serve dipped ice cream with all sorts of flavors-which everybody loves! Gets pretty crowded on weekends. They have excellent pizza!Parking: Gets pretty crowded on weekends. (Not a large place)Plus there are other businesses using same lot. Parking CAN be challenging on weekend nights.Kid-friendliness: They love the dipped ice cream!!Wheelchair accessibility: I know it's available. Would get there early.”

“Updated Menu 2024. Cash Only! Otherwise, everything about it is just what you expect from a country diner. You'll see regulars sitting at the counter. All the waitress are the definition of sweet Southern belles. They have wonderful biscuits, so don't get your feelings hurt if you show up at 11am on the weekend and they're out. One of the few places I know of that you can order scrapple! And the prices are great!”

“I ate here back in 2015-2016. Came back to the area hoping they were still up and running because I wanted my hibachi steak and shrimp! And the CCC! Creamy crunchy crab rolls!! Everything is amazing I spent less than $25 bucks on food! So about $30 after tip! But I got multiple things and extra extra sauces! “We had a party of 7 yesterday for late lunch/early dinner. Our waitress was Courtney and she was the best waitress I have ever had. The food was great and service was even better. Great experience.”

“For a Subway quick sandwich type place it was 5 stars. I ordered 7 subs some with customization while I was grocery shopping at the Lion grocery store next door. When I pulled up to Subway they had just finished bagging my order perfect timing.The sandwiches were well portioned and we didn't feel like the skimped on anything, all the sandwiches were made correctly and they were good.The only negative is I ordered on the app and it was buy one foot long get one 50% off. I ordered 6 foot longs and only 1 was discounted though that's not the fault of the restaurant.”

“Move to Virginia 3 years ago and this is the first chance we've had to go there for dinner. Very cool place I love older historic buildings like that. Bunny was our server and I had the prime rib and my wife had the shrimp and crab casserole both were delicious and Bunny treated us very graciously. Will definitely be returning at a future date.”

“This place has a special hold on my heart. My fiancé proposed to me here and it has been one of our favorite little spots. I cannot say that the food is not good - because the last time I ate there was when they only had nachos on the menu. However, if you are looking for great drinks with a variety to choose from, and an amazing atmosphere - this is definitely the spot. We love that there is a live band on weekends, and the Sangria during the summer is AMAZING - so much so that I have bought the growlers and took them home! I believe if anyone is looking for something on the water, but not as commercialized, this is definitely the spot!”

“Love the patio seats for dining. The food has always been fantastic! This is a place we stop into almost every time we go to the tap house or even to the water.Parking: The weekends it can be a bit difficult to find parking, but I'd like to say there is always one coming out when one is coming in. It is a shared parking lot with the Tap House, and a couple other restaurants in that strip - but it's fairly decent.”
