“I love Checkers! I've been stopping at the Cross Roads for many years. I was really bummed when I came out of your neighbors door with my bag of food :( My husband said there's a Checkers. I know you have good Street presence from one side of the street but Checkers needs a taller sign! I took a picture from right next store and I still couldn't see it. Next time I will stop there for sure. The absolute only reason I took off a star.”

“The hash browns were just shredded fried on the griddle. My meal was otherwise good. My grandson got the French toast with sides and loved it. This was our second choice, the local diner was closed. My problem is price, too expensive. We spent what we will spend tomorrow for dinner.”

She was very polite and I certainly didn't want her to feel I was rushing her so I appreciate her above and beyond attitude when I mentioned food item was not ready yet. Thank you 🙂”

“Our wedding day at Keswick Vineyards was perfect from start to finish - not an exaggeration. Everyone on staff made the entire day seamless, so we were able to truly just arrive and enjoy the day. When weather caused a hiccup in our day, our cocktail hour was moved under the tent no problem, drinks were brought to the wedding party while we waited out the storm, and we were able to keep to our schedule due to Cindy and team's fantastic planning. The venue itself was beautiful - the pool, house, and vineyard made the perfect photo backdrop, the carriage house where we got ready was the perfect secluded spot for our wedding parties, and I just truly didn't have to think of a single thing. The inclusions to the venue rental (tent, chairs, tables, etc.) made planning that much easier, along with vendor recommendations, and Cindy and team are true professionals who know what they're doing and will ensure your day is just about you and your love story. We were also lucky to have Cindy as our month of coordinator, which if you're lucky enough to snag one of her limited spots, DO IT! Going into our wedding, I truly felt so stress-free and like everything was out of my hands and handled. I truly cannot recommend getting married here enough, and it makes me so happy that we'll be able to share a bottle of Keswick wine together each anniversary. Just truly can't fit how wonderful this whole team and venue is in a single review. I am so grateful our wedding day was so special and perfect thanks to this place. This is a dream venue.”

A fierce Virginia thunderstorm rolled in, complete with lightning and heavy rain, but thanks to the venue’s excellent planning and back-up indoor spaces, everyone stayed completely dry and comfortable. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines scenic charm, excellent event infrastructure, and a team ready to handle anything—even Mother Nature—Castle Hill Cider is an absolute winner!”

“There are not a ton of places around Lake Monticello to eat at without driving a bit. The food and service here are excellent. Good prices as well, it's always clean and just a great restaurant.”

“Nice restaurant. Good ambiance, relaxing. The food is delicious. I had the human, soup, and a hot tea.
The staff is nice and efficient and the food arrives in a timely manner. They had flatware and a napkin ready, but did not offer chopsticks (but you can request them). The menu offers a nice selection and the price is moderate.
They also have baby seats available upon request.
I will definitely come here again.”

“Ordered takeout online. Website is user friendly. There was an item not on the menu, but I know they serve. I added that to my order through the comments section. I called within a few minutes of placing the order and the girl was spot on already taking care of it. In fact she had already called the phone number of the person picking up the take out order to confirm everything. Our order was correct . Food was good, just wish I got a little more beef in my order, but all else was fine.”

“This is not a restaurant, this is a BP FasMart gas station. That being said, you can buy breakfast biscuits, chicken, tater wedges, etc. The usual fixins you get at most all FasMarts, but this staff.... They are the coolest! I'm usually here everyday getting gas & snacks! These lady's are the best!”

“Food was delicious. Service not great, maybe under staffed. We waited for her to take our order, waited on refills, waited to be checked on to get to go boxes. Waited again for our check.They got our appetizers order wrong so we waited, and then they came out with the meal. Next time maybe just order to go.”
