Ordered food for pick up drove 30 minutes to pick it up to be told they only accept cash. Then was told to go next door to get cash where the atm was broke. Nobody offered me my food because of their lack of communication, I told them that would probably be something you should tell people that are calling in orders, to get looked at like I was stupid by the waitress.

Breakfast stop before work. Our sever was very friendly and helpful we were on a timetable and she assured us that we would have plenty of time and she was right!

A local, cash only watering hole. Facility shows its age in that weather worn look. People are friendly and efficient. Food is fine. It is a safe place to stop in an area where there are few places to stop.

Avoid!!! This place is GROSS first off. They take 0 Pride in appearance and cleanliness. Booths are falling apart. Take cash only but unable to make change?? Order was incorrect TWICE. They do take checks but you make it out to “Joe’s place” so they aren’t even operating correctly in this establishment and should be shut down. I left only having fries for lunch because they could not make my CLUB SANDWICH correctly. Of course they charged me $3 for those fries despite not eating the meal it came with. Waitress was super nice but there are plenty of jobs out there choosing to work in this place speaks volumes. Oh and the bathroom you walk in to exposed wires and electrical.

Jessica was our server and she was wonderful. Friends came from out of town and we decided to have breakfast here. Jessica was friendly, joking with the kids. Everybody felt very comfortable. The omelets were full of filling, the pancakes were light , the bacon was crisp, the biscuits were light and fluffy, and the potatoes in all forms were crisp on the outside and tender inside. The food was beyond yummy and my friend said that they would come from Northern Virginia again just to eat here.

We just moved to Mineral (Louisa) and found this little gem down the street. Great food and a throwback to great service. It's CASH only so be prepared.

I grew up in Louisa and never been to this restaurant. But since I was in town for work at breakfast time I guess today is the day. First the good things. The staff and diners inside were really nice. And the prices were more than reasonable. The not so good was the actual food. Not sure how a whole meal sit down was done in about 3 min. I suspect the sausage and bacon was just reheated in the microwave. And why was the sausage a grayish white in the middle? And sausage gravy was subpar. Also the diner seems very dated (which I guess could be part of it's charm) and could use a good cleaning. But at the very least the large front windows could be cleaned. And yes KitKat my ESA, that's pictured, helped with the review...

We went to this place based on a friend saying it was great. I would give it a zero if I could. We were told not to judge this place by the decor so we tried not to, this was very hard. This place is filthy! The windows, blinds and everything is gross. While waiting for our dinner and argument started in a back room which we could hear very clear. This then moved into the parking lot which then we could see. I can only assume it was the owner that proceeded to loudly curse about the incident. Saying he didn’t need to hear the bull s and said he would close this B down. The food was most likely something processed and heated in a microwave. DISGUSTING!! Bottom line avoid this place at all cost. Hans down the worst ever experience.
