Came in on a Sunday in January to find a lively crowd and a good menu. Had the Captain's Platter that included fresh peel and eat shrimp and my favorite hush puppies. Had a Bloody Mary special that the bartender made extra spicy by request. The Carolina Gold was recommended by our server and was spot on. Enjoyed everything about the visit and the service was fantastic (both waitress and bartender get 5 stars)Best trip out for a meal at SML in the winter I can remember.

I liked everything about the staff and the atmosphere, my wife got the Mahi BLT which was the best thing we had, I had a Lobsta Roll that was ok, I'm not much on shredded lobster, our friend had fish tacos that were good but didn't have enough fish and too much slaw. What really set me off was when we got the bill that had a service charge on it of 4% with a note that said credit card charge, we do not remember seeing a sign that there was a charge to use your credit card or was not told there is a charge or a discount for cash. I'm ok with paying a credit card charge if I'm told about it and charge cards charge all businesses I know 2.5%, so 4% unacceptable. Also the drink prices are not on the menu and they were $10 each.
First time to this restaurant After it reopened and don't think I will go back again. This is more a Bar rather than restaurant noisy, food was so so and pricey for what you got. Somewhat limited menu .

We really enjoyed being able to sit outside on a beautiful evening. Our server was friendly and engaging. The prices were reasonable. As a wine drinker, I would appreciate a better selection of wines. The menu selections were rather limited. I got the shrimp tacos. I had asked to leave off the sauce, and they still had sauce, but it was okay. Overall, we liked this restaurant and plan to go back.

This place has potential but the food was not good at all. Very below average. The lobster roll was imitation lobster, the corn fritters were frozen, the crab dip was all cream cheese and the French dip tasted like a steakum. The server was friendly, great location and good drinks.
