10/10 experience! Perfect way to end our vacation. Amazing staff, scenery, and wine selection. In comparison to the other wineries in the area this one stands out by SO MUCH! highly recommend to swing in, we loved it! I am 22 and can confidently say it has a perfect vibe for all ages of day drinking fun and relaxation!!! :)
Don't be confused by the homey appearance park in the grass and come on it! Small peaceful winery with delicious wine. You may taste inside or outside. They have seating available on the porch outside or under the shade of a big beautiful tree. They do have cheese, crackers, bottled water paper plates and napkins available for purchase. Flights are $16 and a guided wine tasting is $18 per person.
We had a great time at this winery. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about wine. The winery is so quaint, has a lot of cute photo opps, and we really enjoyed their wine too. Definitely worth the visit if you're at SML.
Great selection of wines. Had a great time here
I’ve driven past this winery probably 100 times since I was a little kid but I finally was able to stop in this weekend. I had such a fun time doing the wine tasting with my friend there! Will definitely be back. The owner is super knowledgeable and very kind, able to answer any questions you have.
We could not have asked for a better visit to Hickory Hill Vineyards. The wine was wonderful and the owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I look forward to visiting again when I am back in town!

A group of my friends and I were first time visitors over the Memorial Day weekend and I can’t say enough about this place. There’s limited seating inside, but has a huge beautiful field with some outdoor seating. There’s also cornhole and other outdoor games. The staff is so kind and helpful and friendly, too. We just moved to the area and will definitely be making this a repeat visit on our lake weekends! PS- try the Mist… it’s the best!
Very nice owners, as well as very reasonable prices. The whites we tasted were outstanding - the mist and sunset were our favorites. We had to bring home a bottle of each!
Beautiful! Stopped by in late March, owners were cheerful and excited about wine. We sat and enjoyed some delicious wines with a beautiful view. Mist & Country Red bottles came home with me! As well as a book! Wine maker Donald Furrow-Scott is an author of some historical wine fiction, and as a book lover & wine lover how could I resist an autographed copy?! Definitely recommend as a quiet stop for some delicious wines!
Cozy inside with fireplace! Had a great winter visit even though it was cold and rainy outside. The wine tasting led by the owners was incredible! They are super nice and the amount of wine for the price was extremely generous. Would definitely come back again in the warmer weather too!
