Ice cream was good.
Service was awful, the workers are very rude and act like it's an inconvenience helping you.
My family and I visited the Ice Cream Cottage on Friday, August 1st, and enjoyed our experience overall. Hershey’s ice cream never disappoints, and the quality was excellent. However, it was disappointing that the shop does not allow samples before purchasing. Offering free samples is a common industry practice, especially at this price point, and would greatly enhance the customer experience.
If you're ever at Smith mountain lake you need to check this place out. Your kids will love it too.
Pretty incredible ice cream place. The ice cream is INSANELY GOOD. (Mint and moose tracks are my fav, MAN it’s good.) very, very nice people, good atmosphere! Good place for right by the lake!

Nice little shop to grab some ice cream on a hot day. They were very friendly with quick service on a busy day.
A lovely little ice cream shop next to the water, they had a verity of flavors. The place was clean and the employees were professional. And I liked the Cow print painted in the cabinets.I was treated kindly, they made us feel welcome.

Terrible and overpriced ice cream. We threw it away. They don't allow samples so we ended up with bland flavors. Hated this place.
Nice little ice cream parlor at Bridgewater Plaza. They carry Hershey’s ice cream. There was a good variety. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Hershey's ice cream, good service
We just got our ice cream from this place and it was just the gross experience. Two young boys were serving us ice cream cones using their bare hands and I saw them wiping their hands with the most nastiest towel. It was like a car repair person towel. We told the cashier and it did not pace her. Please don’t go there. You might feel sick with germs.
