Our fav restaurant on the lake and the reason is simple- our waitress Kelsey (we did not know her prior to eating here). She truly is the best at her job and so incredibly sweet.
I’ll never forget my son wearing a shirt that says “need money for dirt bikes” and she gave him some cash. She didn’t even know it was his birthday. I’ll never forget that.
We pray she is there next year & look forward to more burgers and wings. 💗

What a great spot! The location was so cool and had a fun atmosphere. You can drive in or boat in, and it has sweet outdoor seating on the water. Tuna tacos were amazing, and the OG burger did not disappoint.

This place is a solid oasis in the craft beer desert of SML. Can't even begin to explain the level of rotating craft beers constantly available at this waterside restaurant . 😳 Their unicorn selection of NEIPA is unmatched.....and the best part - it's all draft. Think Messorem, Other Half, Veil, Weldwerks, Drowned Lands, etc. They always have a unique rare gem available in addition to their steady flow of solid Untappd 4+ rated boomers. If you like IPA, NEIPA, DDH, and Triple Hazy then Jake's Place is an absolute must. Mike and Ashley are there to help navigate the goods if you need help deciding.

This is not just some dockside bar and grill. The food is wonderful with a great selection and very moderately priced. We were there for a couple of meals while visiting my brother, Tom, at the campground. Kelsey was our server and she was friendly and very attentive. Thank you so much for a very nice time!

Stopped by for dinner on the 10th. Website said that they were open til nine. Closed!!??!! Very disappointed.

I was in yesterday for my wife’s birthday dinner, with a party of 13. When we approached the host, we were immediately told we could only sit outside (all were appropriately dressed). It was 5 p.m. We said ok and went to sit, but then a manager (maybe owner?) came down and said he would not slide the tables together so our parties could sit together. We then asked if we could go inside to eat and he said no, when the restaurant was about half full. Despite the owner’s response to my wife’s review in order to rewrite the narrative and save face, this experience was not a hateful exchange on the part of patrons who didn’t get what they wanted. This was a manager (or owner) who behaved poorly to a party of 13. Would not recommend this restaurant, as the owner was not only hateful but also now, dishonest.
Came to Jake’s on our boat for a birthday dinner. Manager was incredibly unkind. Would only sit us outside, tables apart (party of 13), stated no options inside when walked in and restaurant was halfway empty. We left after treatment and went to Mango’s. Regret choosing Jake’s and will never be back.
