Another popular spot to visit while on the water. About eight of us showed up here 45 minutes before they close, which none of us wanted to do. It was pretty much accidental but everyone working there was graceful and didn't seem to mind and our food was excellent.

Waited 10 minutes before I had to go ask for a server. Decided to let it slide and order anyways. Asked for my burger to be medium came out extra well. My kids chicken tenders could have been used as golf balls way over cooked as well. My wife ordered a crab cake BLT she was scared to eat it way undercooked. Pretty disappointed

My family and I visited Mango’s Bar and Grill on Friday, August 1st. While the location is excellent—right on the water with nearby shopping and an ice cream shop—the overall dining experience was disappointing. The food was mediocre, resembling frozen prepared items rather than freshly made dishes. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the smell of cigar smoke from patrons at the outside bar carried inside through the open garage doors, which diminished the atmosphere.

It's a great place to pull in your boat or car and just eat and relax.

It was great until 2 guts lit up cigars. Being outside the staff stated there was nothing they could do.

Busy outdoor music venue, right on the Smith Mountain Lake. Great band that night, Cimmaron! Food and drinks are good but ablittle pricey.

Came here after a really bad experience at another restaurant on the water that was similar with an outside bar and umbrella's, We were seated immediately, served immediately, and even though they were open air as well they had enough fans indoors and air circulation that it was comfortable, We had steak salads which were very good and margaritas. Appreciated the cleanliness of both the restaurant and restrooms. Very well managed it seems!

Very much a bar, not so much a grill, beers are 70 percent full, or 30 percent empty for a premium price. Kid was not eating his chicken, i tired it, spit it out immediately, tasted awful and feeezer burn and over cooked, kids apply juice 4 bucks not included with kid meal. Sigh, needs some love and attention otherwise just labe it a dive bar

Fast service but the food was mediocre at best. Everything we had was bland.
