Went there a while ago, good food and a great atmosphere being near Smith Mountain Lake. Servers were friendly and food was served quickly. Recommend for anyone wanting to grab a bite to eat in the SML area.

My wife and I split the prime rib dinner special. It was delicious and the portions were large enough to feed both of us. Our server kept good tabs on our needs. We sat by the fireplace on a cold night and that added to the atmosphere.the views are great. I gave the atmosphere four stars because the furniture, carpet, decorations are just a little dated and could use updating. But overall a great dining experience at a reasonable price.

The hot French dip roast beef sandwich is really good! So is the Little Chris sandwich (my favorite!) The fries (good size portions) were cooked just right! My friend and I came to the restaurant shortly before noon, no waiting, service was great & lunch was delicious and hot!Never had a bad meal there! It's all good!

The place was super busy. They were short staffed, but the food and service were excellent. Even with being short staffed,we did not feel neglected. We love coming out to Moosies!
A local staple. Ive been coming here for years with my dad. The food is always good. Especially the French onion soup and it's right on the water! Can't beat it.
This place is and has always been hoppin. Don't want to be around the wilder crowd downstairs but still want to enjoy the entertainment. This is your spot. The nachos here are legend... just saying
