Made my husband sick within 30 mins of eating seafood delight. Drinks was not made right. Very disappointed. Will not return. Sadly, before they closed we loved everything. The menu was full of random choices. Is it mexican? Is it Italian? Is it American? The world may never know. Wish them the best. But I'd rather spend $85 where we actually enjoy the meal.

Bread had no taste seafood pasta...could not eat.. food sour got box and took home for chickens...I got sick. Hope chickens don't die......DRINKS DON'T ORDER TRASH

We saw that it was open and decided to give it a try. We were basically alone in the restaurant as it was mid afternoon. Our first reaction was the variety and amount of items on the menu. Too many items and types is a red flag that items aren’t fresh. We ordered a burger and a pizza. The burger came out fast, had salad toppings instead of typical toppings, obviously a precooked patty as fast as it arrived and was topped with mozzarella. The pizza arrived about 25 minutes later after my wife had finished her burger. If I had to guess the pizza made with frozen crust. Won’t be going back.

Carry out… The order was incorrect had to be redone. We got a steak sub. I do not recommend. It was full of gristle larger than the slices of meat. I threw it away. Wings definitely were not good, looked like they were cooked from a bag of Kroger’s wings. The pizza was burnt on top and not really able to eat it. Also, threw it away. Maybe they are just getting started. But we will not return.
Hopefully in the future they will improve. Best of luck to them.
I lived in Bedford almost 12 years ago now and Tuscan Tavern was always a go to. Spent some years as an over-the-road trucker and now I am settled in Indiana, but one constant is we always find time to go to Tuscan Tavern when we visit VA every few years. The food is top notch (can't believe we found a real Italian place nestled into the woods of Moneta) and the people are always amazing. Tony and Maria are gems and their employees follow suit! My only concern is last night (10/14/23) at about 1930, they were already closed. No notice or anything. It was such a bummer. We were staying in Roanoke for one night so I demanded we make the trek to Moneta for it. Ended up ar some chain Italian place in a strip mall instead. Tony, or any employee who has the authority to respond to reviews, is everything okay? The phone line was still connected so I am confident you all aren't shut down, just worried for my favorite Italian food dealers ;) Hopefully I will be back VA way for my wedding next year and my partner and I can stop in again!
