While the food is decent, it is overpriced and they are frequently out of multiple ingredients. The owner seems very disorganized and unprofessional and has a tendency to take her frustrations out on her employees.

the brisket sliders were delicious and the peach pie parfait was a refreshing treat. Ate there as a lunch treat during the last day of the Charity Home Tour. The service was great too. would give it a perfect score. It was different in a good way.

This makes the 4 th time ive tried this place. I figured they would start getting it together eventually. Nope, same old story. Top dollar prices for fast food that is far from fast. Been sitting in this drive through for 20 minutes waiting on my food like every other time. Almost 20 bucks for a plain old burger and fries with a small sweet tea. Wish they would bring back the DQ that used to be at this location. Imho the food was better
First time to to the Wake Cafe, although I am a local. The place is bright, appealing and very clean. The wait staff pleasant and knowledgeable. I ordered the blue cheese burger, excellent! The prices are a little high, $28.00 lunch for 2 and drink selection limited. I will go back and will certainly recooommend to others.

Very friendly staff and excellent swirl soft serve ice cream! I make an excuse to stop in and treat myself to one every chance I get. We also appreciate Wake Cafe hosting an informal car show by local car enthusiasts on a regular basis.

After a 25 minute wait time (arrived to my “waiting parking spot” at 1:20, recieved food at 1:46) you would think that the food was going to be delicious. I ordered the four piece boat. The waffle fries were fine, many burnt, but fine, still edible. Ate one chicken tender of the four in the order, and discovered that the others were not properly cooked, and there was doughy batter coating all of them. As someone who has cooked fried chicken many many times, it does not take 25 minutes, and it certainly doesn’t still have wet batter on the inside of it. Unfortunately though, this wait time is always the case here, but this was exceptionally long. Also, as a note, there was one other person ahead of me who also waited the same duration of time.
Fix the wait times or you will continue losing business. Attached photos of chicken.

First visit to this establishment since it was a Dairy Queen. Let me just say, this place is neat. It serves a lot of food similar to DQ but at a higher quality (and steeper price). This place is spic and span and so beautifully decorated. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. Service was above average. I will certainly come back.
