This place is awesome. We stopped in after seeing the sign on the side of the road and were wanting to eat at a local diner. The Jackson River Bakery and Deli did not disappoint!! I had the egg, sausage, bacon, and hash brown plate ($12.00), and my wife had the sandwich. Oh my, it was delicious. Where I have lived I have sought out local Amish groceries, mainly for their bulk flours, spices, and honeys. While I did not find the honey here, I did find bulk flours at great prices. I am not a true local (about an hour away) but it is worth the trip to stock up. Highly recommend for the hobby baker.

Saw this place on my way over to Franklin and made a mental note. I stopped in on my way back. They have a deli counter for meat.....you can order prepared sandwiches and they have a grocery items. I bought a loaf of the white bread, a red raspberry fried pie, a cream stick donut and a bag of corn chips. The cream stick was AMAZING. The cream filling was perfect. The fried pie was very tasty.
