They are the nicest people! They even give us food that someone ordered but never picked up(in this persons defense there was a snow storm going on). They have old fashioned cokes in glass bottles like Nehi, Dr Enuf, Cheerwine and others. Their food is always hot and fast.
We ate lunch at the cafe after hiking in Grayson Highlands. Food and service in restaurant was 5 stars. Our server was the only one waiting tables and she was doing a great job. I would not recommend the macaroni salad but everything else we ate was very good. The store is disorganized, unkempt and unclean. The restroom….don’t use it. Disgusting.
My review focuses on the cafe only. Our party of four was delighted by the good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. The cheesesteak sub, jumbo burger and perfectly fried onion rings were delicious! Loretta took great care to serve us with a smile and her great personality. We plan to visit again!
