Had a quick weekend getaway and ended up coming here every morning for coffee because it was that good! We also tried their chicken salad and tuna salad sandwich for lunch and both were delicious as well. Must visit!

Easily one of the best places for coffee in the Shenandoah Valley. It’s a must stop any time I’m in/passing through New Market.

“Had a great lunch at Jackson’s Corner Café in the old Strayer House. The chicken salad on toasted sourdough was perfect. The staff were super friendly—one lady even shared some history about the building, and the girl at the counter had such a warm smile and kind eyes that made the visit feel even nicer. The food, service, and atmosphere all made it worth recommending.”

Got a hot chocolate and it was so delicious, good enough that I need to go back for another one. Also enjoyed a maple pecan scone and a lemon blueberry scone.

Everything is great. The only negative thing I have to say is the large menu on the wall is not updated. The prices, on the menu, are lower than what the actual cost is when you get your order. Other than that, they have great food, great drinks, and great staff. I love the Civil War mementos and displays they have in the building..
Came up from Chattanooga TN to visit some family and stopped in to check out this Coffee shop since I am a coffee lover and I was very impressed with the service , coffee and food! Plus you get to see a little bit of the history while you are enjoying some of the best coffee in town! My partner is a fan of peppermint so he tried hot chocolate with peppermint syrup and he absolutely loved it! There’s plenty of other options if you aren’t a fan of coffee! Definitely one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to 💗

Great food, coffee, and atmosphere!
Coffee shop with all of the usual coffee and expresso options. They do offer dairy free milk options. There is a food menu, but nothing is default vegan.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere!
Wonderful historic building and information. Nicely preserved and presented. So glad we stopped!
Our choices - all excellent!
*Club sandwich on croissant
*Italian on baguette
*Spinach and tomato quiche with mozzarella, tomato basil soup
*Iced caramel macchiato
*Iced oat milk latte with lavender and raspberry
Overpriced and overrated. Newsflash, you're a small town restaurant, not some uppity JMU style food establishment.
